I picked one up 10 days ago. 1300 rounds through it. I love the gun but have had 5 rounds with 3 different ammo brands. It ejects a casing and the next round jams going into the chamber. The slide will almost close but not enough to fire the round. When I remove the mag and pull the slide to eject the round it ejects the unfired casing dumps the powder out and leaves the bullet stuck most of the way in the chamber. Has happened 5 times with 3 brands of ammo fmj and hp. Happens when using Glock g17 gen5 mags. Magazines are new when i got the gun. Kinda sucks because i love the gun.
You need to release this barrel and comp separate, I put an xr920 on layaway before the p version was released and I want to add the comp to it just like my mr920p so both of my shadow systems are comped.
Have a dr920 with a pmm comp put it in the safe and bought a staccato p. Regretted the swap. I put the staccato p back in the safe and bought the XR920P and started carrying it for work. Haven’t looked back I love my shadow systems
not sure how this is passing for LE agencies. My friends MR920 Elite is sensitive to so much ammo, has tons of failure to feed and failure to eject. Saw it with my own eyes. He doesn't know what to do with this $1k gun that is not reliable to EDC now.
I'll check with him but when I saw him operating it at the range I was surprised. He had other brand firearms and using various ammo and zero issues but when it came to the MR I was shocked. I'll tell him to contact your support
@@ShadowSystemsCorp My MR920 is not sensitive to ammo. However i had a DR920 and always got stuck cases even though the same ammo ran flawlessly in 2 other guns including my MR920. Customer service would not help diagnose or swap my barrel, it had to be clearly out of spec in the chamber…so that gun is no longer in my possession.
I already had an XR920 for awhile before they dropped the XR920P version so I ended up with the next best thing, a blem Radian Ramjet Afterburner from Primary Arms for 249.99. I doubt the P version from SS works any better, but I know the Radian is easier to put on and take off for cleaning than the P version from SS. Even better with the Ramjet, you get the extra barrel so if you feel like using your XR without a comp, you can just switch back and forth.
I love you line of firearms and feel that you guys are being innovative. The one thing I do want to see change is the option for an aluminum magwell instead of polymer. If you were to have this option then I would make Shadow Systems my only firearms in my collection
You are wrong! I have a G45 with Ram and now a SS P with over 6000 rounds and the P is definitely easier to remove. Plus I don’t need any tools nor do I have to torque it to 25. Besides that the SS P is a way better firearm for me both in accuracy and feel!!
The better accuracy and feel can be attributed to the SS frame being better in every way than the Glock frame. I have an MR 509t with a radian and the XR with a radian. Needing the bit to unscrew the radian only matters when I’m cleaning. There’s no reason for me to disassemble the radian when I’m carrying it or using it, so tool less disassembly is irrelevant.
@@copper178 For clarity your statement was "but I know the Radian is easier to put on and take off for cleaning than the P version from SS". That is what I disagree with. Especially the original design of Ram which caked up the carbon and difficult to come apart. Which is why I heard they changed the shape. I use white grease before re-assembly to make it easier. The SS just comes off easy and no tool to do so. I agree with the SS frame being better in every way than Glock.
@@toddtzm Just a "technicality", but you're right in pointing that out. I honestly don't know if I have the updated shaped Radians since I only bought the blems from Primary Arms within the last month.
The company is resting on their laurels like Glock now. You want a separate part, guess your buying a new gun. Bad model for the consumer especially not selling MR/DR/XR slides separately. I bought a MR920 non optic 3 years ago and want to run a dot without milling the factory slide. However SS doesn’t sell the just slide and they also will not mill it for you if you send it in.

XR920P - would REALLLYYYYYYY love to see the comp + barrel combo sold separately now. Shot show was 6 months ago 🙏🙏🙏
I bought one last week and this boy isnt lying.

Hello, has your friend contacted customer service? The MR should not be ammo sensitive.

In my experience you get one that runs flawlessly or is plagued with problems. Definitely shouldnt be that inconsistent as a company

CR920XP?
They're going to make us wait until we spend our money on other firearms platform offerings~.
@@chgofirefighter I’m just going to wait it out.
Have it on order with my local range since early May. I can wait.
It would be great if you had some comps in stock for the mr920
Love it, own two of your pistol’s but need the updated comp’s on both of them.
You are right comps are the future , now just release the CR920XP .

Love my MR & XR 920 with the Radian Ramjet. I was too impatient to wait for your P models to come out.
This should definitely be apart of the Patriot+Protector program! Wish more participating retailers were near me in California.

Trevor, is that by individual or agency? 🤔
I understand you guys make a suppressor, I also think that you are to make an adapter to go on the P models. Just an idea.
I need an XR920P!!
On my wishlist
Gotta love shadow systems. And I really enjoyed that belly shot Trevor 😂
Accidental tummy at 1min is funny
