AROCM Showcase: Alfa Romeo 164

Now in every month, Alfa Romeo Owners Club of Malaysia will showcase selected Italian cars, especially Alfa Romeo, in Malaysia.
For AROCM first showcase, we will be showing a model known to be the last model indepentdently developed by Alfa Romeo before being acquired by Fiat, the Alfa Romeo 164. Alfa Romeo 164 is an midsize executive sedan based on the Tipo 4 platfrom which was co-develop with Fiat, Lancia and Saab.
For this specific 164, it is owned by none of than the current president of AROCM. It is powered by the famed Busso V6 in 3.0 24-valve form. While most of the parts are kept original, the original automatic gearbox have been replace with a 6-speed manual from a much more modern Alfa Romeo 156 GTA and a Birba Racing unit is in place of the instrument panel. A major achievement of the car is that its involvement in AROCM Road Tour to Lijiang, China in 2016.

I had the 164 1993 12V model which I owned for 10years. This car cannot rest but must run all the time. It actually fall sick if kept garaged.
