Great video! I just have to say about gas, our prices are horrible here in Southern Ontario Canada, we pay $1.60 a litre, that would be over $6.00 for your gallon. Up north it is even higher. Thanks for sharing your walking trek, lots of trails, lovely scenery. Stay safe in your travels.
I live in Ventura you can find parking lots in front of most beaches and there is no charge Check out Rincon beach free parking. They have a large stair case down to the beach you can even find shells And it’s pretty private.

One thing I love about western Washington is NO RATTLESNAKES!!!! We do have them on the Eastern side of the mountains along with the sweltering heat that they enjoy. But this side of the mountains we are lucky and very grateful to not have both over here. It still does get too hot for me in the summer over here but not like over there and other places. 🥀🌸💝💮🤗🥸💮💝🌸🥀

Those slippers looked thick and warm. Very important to keep your tootsies warm because the floor in a van is cold. I've measured a 30 degree difference between my floor and the countertop. Marina Park on the beach is nice too. Seaward to Left on pierpont. And visit Ventura Harbor. Andreas Seafood. Fish and chips. Always busy. I’m in SB north of you. Worth it!

You’ll find that good barefoot shoes (sans toes), will be great on dirt trails. Dirt trails are softer than pavement. I started the barefoot method two years ago. It healed all my foot problems when I began to actively engage all the muscles in my feet and ankles. Keep me posted on what shoes you like for that. 👍🏼
I can't eat eggs anymore, which is a bummer for a bachelor. I loved eggs. Of course I could physically eat eggs. I just need to know where I'm going to be in ~3.5 hours. Its pretty amazing how accurate the timing is. Pure liquid too. Aren't you glad I didn't tell you how much I paid for gas this morning?

I've also been in the desert for a while and totally get the need to be back in trees. I did spend some time in Gila in New Mexico, which had trees and was AMAZING.
Scott, it was great seeing you all better and eating, and of course, you have to have coffee. I drink hot coffee in fall/winter and cold brew in spring/summer. I make my own coffee. I have to try that coffee from Target you share. I am also a medium coffee drinker too. My favorite food is burrito too! 👍
Hey Static, I also wear lone peak and love them, aside from the rear lip that throws dirt/sand in your shoe. When you are in a rei ck out the altra superior, it has a thinner sole than the lone peak. #✌️

Scott l wear Otillo swim run world shoes made by Vivo. l hardly have them off . l have wide feet and find l have pain from alot of shoes. They are very thin soles which l love now . Only thing here in Australia they are very pricey .

Yes gas is expensive! I live in Indiana, North of Indianapolis, today's price is $3.45 a gallon. I would love to hear the prices else where!

Well I used to use the mug for soup. Nowadays I eat straight out of my enameled pan. Less washing up. Haha

I believe you live in a much warmer climate than I am in currently. Avocados don’t ripen when refrigerated. Without windows, my space stays very cool.
