Great video! You made it look pretty easy. Problem with your steering wheel is there is no real gap at the bottom to tuck the extra material into. My Cruze had the same thing. But since my Equinox has the leather steering wheel already there is space to tuck that in with a trim tool. Hoping if I order that it will look as good as yours with the white stitching.
Nice! Kevin, Quick tip. Use enough string, keep threads tight ,and most important place the double side tape near the edge mainly on the 6 o'clock area front and the back of steering wheel. Those are the key areas where I notice that will need the most attention as far as the double sided tape install. In the video I noticed mistake that made once I started threading the other side. I fixed it but I wish I hadn't goofed up. lol. Good luck, it's quite the challenge. The end result is worth it. It will looks nice in your Malibu. Thanks for the comment. Stay safe!

You should’ve tucked the sides and bottom extra material inside the trim.
