The talent of Nirvana is Dave grohls drums ;) That is the thing that brought them over the edge. And people underestimate Cobains guitar skills. Its pretty unique and not as easy as it might seem. Its unique and hard to cover. John Frusciante said that Kurt is one of the best guitar players he knew. It doesnt have to be solos all the time its the harmony and the style. Cobains obviously is the cherry on the top. but over all it is not suprising that they had succes..

Yes he was and big time , i play my guitar and the 1st song i play is" Come as you are" and get this Lizze my dad is almost 70 and my mom is around 68 and they love Nirvana too and the song they also love is "Come as you are" most parents tell there kids "Umm i don't like that music or some will say "Don't listen to it! but my folks always encourage me to listen and to play his songs, so great folks i have there.. ,my dad always told me that Kurt Cobain was a throw back to the late 60' and early 70's such as Jim Morrison member of the Doors ,, by the way check out his songs too there awesome

Reaching a plateau of power, cleaning everyone away (the bucket and mop ) and then thinking you can go higher (the book about brds) then you only need to say something to get rid of your enemies (who needs action when you have words)? Just a theory, but it seems to add up in my mind at the moment
