Mw19 is only better at graphics, and sounds. The textures and everything else was improved soon in mw2. And the reason why they toned down the graphics, is because it took up an unnecessary amount of storage space.
i hate how the devs decided to turn the firing sounds lower. MW 2019 is the closest we can get to how a real gunfire would sound, especially when the weapons are fired indoors. also, the newer reloads sounded very plastic-y or less metallic and more cartoony compared to the MW2019

Real shame they don't use real gun names and models anymore... It feels like going forward that is going to be the trend where every game uses fake gun names and modified gun models.for the sake of not offending the masses.
It's because 2 things, Activision cba to pay for licensing of real weapons even though they have more than enough money too and also because of the weapons "receiver" variety. MW2 has less weapons than it advertised, you can tell by the weapon family tree.
Well, look at CS2, it still uses real names and obviously Valve had to renegociate the licenses as they market this Source 2 upgrade of CSGO as an entirely new game
Welcome to CoD, where one game is so groundbreaking and revolutionary, that the developers decide to do it again but slightly different and somehow worse.
Activision got a win-win. They made 2019 and everybody loved them. They saw that people didn’t switch to PS5/series as much. So not only did they still release a PS4 version, but made it as good as the other versions… by copy pasting 2019. Then they were going to do DLC in 2023… but wanted more money, so they copy pasted 2019 for a third time. It has worked so good for them, that every single cod game will now be using the same cod app (2022), meaning that every game now is essentially cod 2019. Cod 2019 truly was the Cod of all time.
MW19 is truly a passion game made by great developers. Unlike the cash grab MW2022 and MW2023, where the CEO tried his best to get all the profit before he stepped down.
The way they did mw19 was like the best they ever did with graphics and detail to the guns. Like the lighting in this game was what they needed to use in a any newer cod map because like day time actually look day and night time was really dark but it was cool and wish they did more with it but all they done with it since was like 1 or 2 maps and I rather have better lighting than better graphics in objects
The only thing i like about mw2s mp5 better than mw19s is how there's no top rail if you dont attach an optic to it. Picatinny rails ruin the look of the mp5 imo. The graphics, attention to detail, and the sound effects in MW19 are all satisfying, and the creators did a very good job. The sniping was so smooth and fun. Warzone Verdansk was top notch, and I already have nostalgia for that because warzone made COD 100% great again. But, I, in general, didn't like the game all that much, though. I hated all the campers, and the maps to me were either too big or just not set up the way I like most maps. I hated the scorestreak system and hated that only UAVs can spot enemies on the map. Those long-range shotguns were cool but so sweaty and impossible to go against. Especially the claymores, those things killed me like 6 feet away! That is why I didn't enjoy the game. Never played campaign, though.
Sounds: MWII/MWIII. MW19’s sounds are definitely punchier than MWII’s, but I prefer the more realistic approach to MWII’s sound design. The sounds in MW19 generally sound too bassy and muddy for my tastes, where MWII and MWIII’s sounds are crisp, sharp, poppy and piercing. Reload sounds: MW19. The reload sounds in MWII and MWIII generally don’t do it for me. They’re far too quiet and muted, and they generally sound like someone 25 feet away is reloading the gun. Reload animations: MWII/MWIII. Somehow, the animation team at Infinity Ward improved on their phenomenal work on MW19. I don’t know how they outdid themselves on that one, and they deserve a better game.
Since MW 2019, why did they decide to make most of the player models hold the pistol leaning it to the left like that? The way the character holds the Desert Eagle is what seems like the normal way to hold the pistols.
Cheers to another year of mw19 for me. People complain about cheaters a lot, but it really hasn't been that bad lately. Plus I almost have damascus unlocked. :)

mw 2019 will always be the best, just pay attention to the details such as the fact that the rear sights do not magically disappear if you equip an optic and the lasers are placed on the top of the barrel as in real life and not on the side, or the fact that if a handle is equipped the operator's grip is correct (on mw2 this thing is done very badly)
First off, rear sights CAN be detached on modern rifles, since you can easily mount other ones (M4 for example to put other types of rear sights or just remove it altogether to accomodate for optics or a carry handle). Lasers put on the top of a rifle isn't even a detail, you can mount them on the side rails as well as nothing stops you from doing so (AK pattern rifles don't even support having top mounted lasers). Last off, by handle you mean foregrips? If so, well bud, MWII did a great job as well, it ain't like MW2019 is the only game that did this correctly. Plus, there are plenty of older games, CoD included, that have foregrips mountable on weapons and they do a great job too at portraying how a user would hold said weapon.
@@victorley663 I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the fact that if you equip a vertical grip the operator's thumb assumes an incorrect position which in real life does not allow the weapon to be stabilized during fire, the only grips that are gripped correctly are those angular

Mw19 its an actual masterpiece, the atention to detail and visuals are far more realistic than the last 2 games, if you remove the hud you can actually think its a soldier's pov
The attention to detail was improve did mw2.
Weapon sounds from MW2019 is much more realistic than 2022 and 2023, and the graphics are also not lagging behind, on the contrary it is better than 2022 and 2023.

I love how in MW2019 each weapon has a unique and worn model full of scratches and dents which makes them look very realistic (for example the AK model) while in MW2 and MW3 all the models look so perfect and plastic that they seem like toys
I noticed that too just by the thumb nail mw19's m4 looked like an actual m4, whereas mw22 and mw23 looked like just some straight out the box airsoft guns.

Nah, MW2019 is more realistic model and sound than MWII and MWII.5, kiddo
Mw19 is only better at graphics, and sounds. The textures and everything else was improved soon in mw2. And the reason why they toned down the graphics, is because it took up an unnecessary amount of storage space.
The 1911 in MW19 is a work of art
i hate how the devs decided to turn the firing sounds lower. MW 2019 is the closest we can get to how a real gunfire would sound, especially when the weapons are fired indoors.
also, the newer reloads sounded very plastic-y or less metallic and more cartoony compared to the MW2019
Have you ever hear a reload in real life? MWII nailed it with the reload sounds based on the material of the magazine and the magwell
Well tbf most weapons in MW2 and 3 uses Pmags made from polymer
MW2 and MW3 use polymer magazines, and you are hearing it through noise canceling, as opposed to MW19 where you are hearing the raw sounds
both MW2 and MW2019 got weapon reload sounds fairly right cause in MW2019 the guns have older style metallic magazines but in MW2 they use P-mags which are made out of polymer, I cannot say the same about MW3 2023

That p90 iron sight change is so god awful 🤮
I don’t know how they outdid themselves on that one, and they deserve a better game.
mw19 looks the best but it had bad performance issues so they toned it down a bit on the new ones
Since MW 2019, why did they decide to make most of the player models hold the pistol leaning it to the left like that? The way the character holds the Desert Eagle is what seems like the normal way to hold the pistols.
I'm just now noticing that MW3 tweaked the gunshot sounds of the mw2 guns, and some of them actually sound better, like the 500 Magnum
In terms of graphics and animations, MW2019 still rules for me, but I think I do find most of the MW2 and MW3 firing sounds satisfying.

Similarly to the Modern Warfare 2 M4A1, the in-game rifle has some parts tan and the rest black. mw 2019 will always be the best, just pay attention to the details such as the fact that the rear sights do not magically disappear if you equip an optic and the lasers are placed on the top of the barrel as in real life and not on the side, or the fact that if a handle is equipped the operator's grip is correct (on mw2 this thing is done very badly)
Plus, there are plenty of older games, CoD included, that have foregrips mountable on weapons and they do a great job too at portraying how a user would hold said weapon.

the m13 in MW19 was also c-clamped
@@victorley663 I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the fact that if you equip a vertical grip the operator's thumb assumes an incorrect position which in real life does not allow the weapon to be stabilized during fire, the only grips that are gripped correctly are those angular
@@Hopy if you remove the rear sights from a rifle because you want to use an optic and it breaks or stops working you can no longer use any sights and this is why there are foldable rear sights which do not create an obstacle and can be used in emergency cases
