    Thank you for that great instruction video. I just revieced the Triple Grip Clutch - is it normal, that the clutch plates feel a bit loose? Seller told me thats ok and that i should just throw it in. It sounds clattering, as if the springs where not tightened enough.

    Lil workshop tip. Never rub the locktite bottle directly on the bolt unless you want it to dry up inside the bottle. Locktite dries via a chemical reaction caused by being in the presence of metal and the absence of oxygen. Its pretty easy to pickup tiny bits of metal off the bolt them you put the cover on and it hardens. Iv seen this happen several times.

    Can you do a video of installation of new clutch plates for this clutch? A rebuild essentially. I bought a bike and It has this clutch but seems to be missing some components but idk how to tell

      Probably won't ever have to do it for the length of time we'll be on this bike, it'll be 2 years with this clutch... still works like it did str8 from the box...

    Yea bought a bike for my son and it has one of these clutches. Is there any way to adjust these clutches?

    • @TheRealSkeptyk
      @TheRealSkeptyk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you have to unscrew the main bolt holding the clutch basket and plates down, the screws are on the back side... 1/4 turn at a time my friend, then just test.

      @@TheRealSkeptyk I think it’s way better then stock. He raced on it last weekend, and it performed great. The bike snaps harder, starts way easier, and runs cooler. I also put on the over sized clutch cover.

    So can the clutch be the reason for it stalling?

    • @TheRealSkeptyk
      @TheRealSkeptyk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can... clutches get worn out and begin to slip over time.... but rhis particular clutch is straight out of the box set right.. you can make it slightly more aggressive (catch quicker) with 1/4 turn of the 5 flat head screws in the counter clockwise position (vice versa for less aggressive)... it come with instructions on how to fine tune. But again, it's factory pre-adjusted to match the torque curve of the engine straight out of the box.

    350ml is if you have their larger clutch cover. I believe standard is 250ml - so only 50ml more (To be extra sure you can check the oil level using the oil check bolt on the left hand side of the engine)
