    with proper maintenance the arm is just as good maybe not the best...but will do

      Contact North West Analogue- Dominic Harper. He's superb. Serviced my deck when I bought it via eBay. He does a superb mod on the G800 cartridge- replaces the cantilever with a Ruby one, and a fits a Fritz Geiger diamond tip. I had it done, it costs around £600 and the improvement in performance is tremendous. Many owners rip the original arm off and replace it, it's really not necessary. Replace the V- blocks and get it set up properly and it performs well. It's superb with Dom's G800 upgrade. I have a bespoke plinth on my deck and it's hooked up to a Linn system- it performs superbly. Dom is a Garrard man, but he also highly rates the GL75. With the right tweaks, it can bury many modern decks.......

    Best advice with this deck is to get rid of that arm
