Thank you so much for this video. There's so little representation of nonbinary transitioning journeys and as a super confused person over here, I'm really looking for different experiences and conversations about whats possible! So thanks🙃
White person who has had top surgery here to report that nipple discoloration also happens here! Im sure it is less noticeable/drastic, but for me, the color became kind of splotchy, some spots are noticably paler almost the same as the rest of my skin. Im about exactly one year out, though, so I am sure it will continue to change.
@@mavmagick So when people couldn't take hormones since for most of humanity they weren't medically around, were they incapable of being their true selves?
Love your update! Thanks for your volnurability in sharing your journey so far. I’m 1 month on T and finally got connected with a surgeon for top surgery! Your videos are so affirming.
I have tinnitus, so when you said that addressing your dysphoria with your name change was like having that metaphorical "buzzing noise" go away, all I could think was, "That must be nice!" (But sincerely.)
Content like yours helped me feel more normal when I didn’t have the words for who I am. I didn’t need to know what vocabulary to use to understand I was seeing someone just like myself. This content is so important - thank you :)
(sorry for the long comment, i love seeing other trans people thriving and also sharing their not-so-good experiences) Having a legal option to be nonbinary here (Argentina, you can put an X instead of F/M) i will say it's really not for the weak (like me! lol) it's a pain in the ass to have to go the extra mile for everything just because even if there's a law protecting and validating your identity, legislation processes and day to day legal stuff don't have the option in their forms and papers, which leaves you unable to do anything (like the national census made here in 2022) I had to think this through when I changed my ID, and opted to use the M to blend in and not be discriminated against. It seems we have a long way until we can be ourselves, not only among peers and society but as citizens. edits as i go along the video!: I'm so happy you could get your legal name changed!! I didn't know it was so difficult to do in the US. It really is more of a coming-to-terms-with instead of a pick and choose body traits as you go along the medical transition, i really feel you about that one (facing the possible reality of Vegeta-levels of hair entrances and receeding hairline is...... definitely a journey lol) Thank you so much for telling your story mav, sending u lots of love ♥

@@Gdna.2546 I know! That’s one of the main reasons I made my channel! Not enough representation for the medical aspect of non-binary transitions!
"Super confused person" lmao definitely hit the nail on the head with that statement

@@404-n4i rad!! I’ve never seen that on the top surgery pages I’ve been on but thanks for sharing! It was definitely VERY noticeable on me for years.
I'm also white but top surgery did change my nipples from brown to pink 😅
So happy to see you living your authentic self, Mav 💜

"Authentic"
@ yep! Putting it in quotes doesn’t change that 😉

If u don't mind me asking why did it cost so much to change ur legal name?

Im from a very homophobic country, but still changing my name on more gender-neutral one cost me like 30$ so at least I can be grateful for that...
