That the killbuyers bid past slaughter price just to try and make you waste donations to save these horses really shows what kind of people they are.

$500 is still cheap to adopt since the vet visits and hoof guy plus feed you have already spent that! Not to mention the training to get them ready for Adoption thank you for doing what you do!

It’s truly frustrating that the last act of kindness can’t be done by the previous owners.......

It is comforting to know that you take the time to cremate these dear horses on your property, so they are not discarded a second time, but laid to rest, back to nature surrounded by friends 🌈 Thank you for their aftercare. 💜 From 🇦🇺

I have Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. I get scared sometimes . Your videos are my favorites. They ease my fear and really increase my faith in a number of ways. Thank you for all you do.

I can only imagine what these poor abandoned horses feel when they've been dragged to hell, traumatized, get loaded up for another scary journey, not having any idea what will happen next... And at the end of the day kind people turn them out into a beautiful field of deep grass. Hell to Heaven in 24 hours. Bless you all for rescuing them.

The horses that are are turned out to the pasture after intake look so happy. My favorite part is watching them go.

My best horse ever thought all desensitisation stuff was new toys. Bag on a stick was a game. Pool noodles were for biting. I opened an umbrella in his face and he sniffed it and then frolicked with me while I ran around with it in his paddock. The champion horse sharing his paddock was far less impressed. XD

I totally understand the quality of life aspect. I lost my dog this past January (2021) due to cancer in her shoulder. She wasn’t very old. We had to put her down because she was in immense pain. It all happened in less than a month. I miss her but we were all there when she passed, loving on her, brought her favorite toys, etc. We were there to comfort her and it’s sad that some owners just ditch and leave their pets and companions in pain.

My heart just aches for these beautiful animals that don't deserve what has happened to them. All of you are angels. ❤❤🐎🐎

Having had horses my self I can understand all the emotions in having to make the last act of kindness. I cry with each and everyone. Not because they are being laid at rest but because they suffered so long before being rescued. The love of a horse or donkey or mule is beyond one's understanding they give unconditionally. A true animal owner knows this and their are thousands of caring loving compassionate owners. My Heart goes out to this wonderful organization along with several others that do their utmost best every day.

I'm with you. Vet everyone!! Gee whiz. Humans are disgusting!! I'm 82 with long experience with humans and horses. Don't like the two legged beast. Love the four!!

I think its the most satisfying when the horses that have gone through intake can finally run out to the pasture, and just be horses and nibble on grass. For them its gotta be so wonderful to be away from the stress situations, and have chance to decompress out in the nice country air, with bird song and gentle breezes, or rain. It is unfortunate that some of them need the last act but we know they will no longer suffer.

Cremation is the best. Such a big animal, you can't just bury all of them, and dumping them off at the landfill is terrible! You guys do great work. Never easy.

I am crying. I felt in love so much with the horse that got the last act of kindness because of hardly breathing 💔💔💔 Hoping she has a wonderful life behind the rainbow and can play with her friends on a green meadow!! 🌈 Run free little star 😭😭⭐️

I really lost it over the little mare who could not breathe. I had a beloved cat who got bone marrow cancer, and on her last day, every breath required her stomach to rise up to nearly her back. She died a few minutes later in my arms. I was grateful she did not have the breathing problem for very long at all, and although it reduced me to tears, I was glad that this little mare was able to rest from her constant burden of taking each labored breath. And as horrified as I was about the donkey with the torn up and bleeding hooves, I'm glad he finally was relieved from what had to be incredible pain. I hope the others on the watch list are able to recover and I hope the once-downed paint recovers. He is a beautiful fella.

Thank you for updating about your cremation process. That is something I had wondered about with the amount of animals that come your way each month. You guys have a wonderful organization!
