Sorry I’m so untruthful. I can’t see past the evil. Not yours. Not many good things in my life. I’m working on it. I do need money, so I found a way. It will take all my time, for months at a time. 12 hours a day 7 days a week. No time for anything but it and eating and sleeping. It’s the only way I have. It will bring some problems as it get rid of others.

The value of responsibility is really well articulated. Thank you very much. My problem is I don't want my life to be like a computer or some kind of algorithm. I know it is the optimal way as a computer "scientist". However, it can be a good start to regain a sense of control. I really much admire your work (that a lot of people around me find controversial) and someday somehow, I'll shake your hand. Have a nice day Sir. Tyvm. ❤

That was the perfect video that I needed to listen to right here, right now where I am in my life. Thank you for who put this together, and thank God for J.Pistol Pete.(Jordan Peterson)and if anyone out there is wondering. I’m on my 5th day in a row of attending AA meetings with an open mind/heart. Feeling optimistic and grateful.

Jordan wanted to be a preacher of religion, and so without taking any training ... he wants people to revere his teachings of "Christ."
I would like to ask Jordan the following question. Being that there wasn't any Protestant religion back in that era ... there are only two choices.
My question would be ... Do you believe that Jesus would have reigned as King over the Jews … as a preacher of Judaism’s doctrine ... or ... reigned as King over the Catholics ... as a preacher of Catholic doctrine?
What do you believe would be Jordan's response?
My guess is ... he would start by droning on and on ... "Well, that depends what you mean by the words ... blah, blah, blah."
By the way ... what would be your response to that question? Do you believe that Jesus would have preached Judaism ... or ... Catholicism ... as his one and only choice of doctrine?
It can't be both ... because those two religions were at total odds with each other.

“You have heard that it was said . . . but I tell you . . .” - Jesus Christ (multiple times in Matthew 5)
Jesus didn’t conform his teaching to others. Jesus didn’t conform his teaching to Judaism or Catholicism. The point isn’t how Jesus can be conformed to *our* human teachings. The point is how we can be conformed to *His* teaching!
Jesus didn’t need to attack the tenants of Judaism in his day - but the abuses. Old Testament Judaism was always pointing to himself. Jesus is THE Passover Lamb. Jesus is THE Sabbath Rest. Jesus is the fulfillment of it all. He did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets, but to fulfill them. Judaism in Jesus’ day isn’t what Judaism has become.
Likewise, Roman Catholicism today isn’t what catholicism was in the first century Roman Empire, either. Just as Judaism today still looks for a different Messiah, Roman Catholicism today has replaced the true Messiah with false saviors and a co-redemptrix in the form of saints and mother Mary. Roman Catholicism today has changed the beautiful Gospel statement from first century catholicism under the Roman Empire: “It is finished!” into a Law statement of “Okay, I’ve given you a push start. Now the rest is up to YOU to become your own savior!” Roman Catholicism today is as much based on works as Judaism is!
Salvation by works is a human idea. That’s why Jesus said “You have heard that it was said . . . but I tell you. . . “ He was heaping Law on the heads of his self-righteous listeners so that they would despair of themselves and their own attempts at self-salvation. The Law shows our sin. And it shows our incredible *need* for a Savior! But the Law cannot save. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
But we are justified freely by his grace - not a push start of infused, so-called “grace” but imputed Grace that is credited to us as a free gift of God. That is the gift that both modern day Judaism and modern day Roman Catholicism reject. Jesus, as true God, doesn’t contort his teaching to fit into one of two arbitrary human teaching boxes. It is up to us, rather, to conform our teachings and practice to Him!!

@@HJohn-xn9ub If as the Christians maintained in their theology, that Jesus was born PERFECT as a baby Jew, to parents that were faithful ONLY to Judaism ... why do the divisive "religions" of Christianity even
      exist?
If Jesus CHANGED his system of belief to Catholicism ... then Jesus would be IMperfect. And don't forget that back then, Protestantism didn't even exist.
You will only be ABLE to spot the lies, when you are ready. And you won't BE ready, unless you are "WILLING." Been there ... did that.

@@junevandermark952, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Jesus didn’t change his teaching at all. It has always only pointed to himself. Old Testament Jewish believers trusted in a Messiah who was yet to come - Jesus Christ. New Testament Christian believers (some of whom are also ethnically Jewish) trust in the Messiah who has already come - the same Jesus Christ! Fulfillment isn’t destroying or overturning.
It would seem that you are coming at this entirely backward. Jesus doesn’t have to submit to Judaism or Catholicism (and certainly not Protestantism because, for whatever reason, you make such a big deal about that not being an option!) The question isn’t whether Jesus Christ fits into a specific religion, but whether your religion fits with Jesus Christ!!
“Before Abraham was born, I Am.” John 8:58
As true God who existed from eternity, Jesus is *before* Judaism. Old Testament Judaism has to fit with Jesus - not the other way around. The same can be said of Christianity. Jesus precedes it and it must conform to him - not the other way around.
As long as you are looking at this (and arguing from!) an anthropocentric point of view, you aren’t going to understand. God is greater than mankind. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. But this is foolishness to those who are perishing.
That is why we resolve to know nothing but Christ and him crucified. Jesus suffered, died, and rose from the dead as the perfect fulfillment of everything promised before his coming - because it was all planned from eternity. Those who trusted in him before he came and those who trust in him after he came are equally saved. But those who trust in their own works, whether before or after Christ’s saving work, reject what he has freely given them.

@@HJohn-xn9ub Even had Jesus existed, he would not have been a nice man at all.
He would have been just the leader of a a new cult.
What man (in his right mind) would say, "If you don't believe in me, your soul won't be saved?"
What man (in his right mind) would say ... I support my father's will to subject evil souls to eternal punishment?
It was men that said that Jesus came to earth to teach us how to love one another.
If what people do to each other in the name of a god is love ... we should avoid it at all costs.
Theology is based on theory ... myth ... which is simply made-up stories, by men with overactive imaginations.

@@HJohn-xn9ub How sad, that people believed such horrors as being literal truth.
From the book, "The Way Our People Lived," ... An intimate American history, by William E. Woodward, published 1944, comes the following ...
The Puritan temperament was deeply tinctured with an inclination towards needless self-torture. Their ministers seldom preached of the joys of heaven; the emphasis in the sermon was laid on the tortures and terrors of hell. Jonathan Edwards-the most famous of colonial divines, declared that God takes delight in the suffering of poor lost sinners.
Those elected for goodness, having fought in this world against evil, would in the next life be lifted up to an infinite happiness; and, looking down out of heaven, they would realize their own ecstasy by contrasting it with the infinite misery of the sinners in the flames of hell.
