Your travel content is amazing! Haven't been to Lake Powell yet but it certainly looks wonderful. Been traveling around too and what makes traveling more convenient these days is carrying the best Carry-on bag from Nomad Lane. It's the bento bag and all I can say is it's the best, though of just sharing!

I drove through part of that storm going home to Oceanside, CA from Albuquerque and it was SOOOOO GNARLY. So gnarly. Definitely not sprinkles lol. Thunder and lightning!

Spent a weekend on a houseboat with 15 others there years ago. Had a blast. Nice lake - huge. Watch out for the bats. They come out at night around the houseboats that are away from shore.
Lol….my uncles help build the damn in the late 50”s-early 60”s. I have seen the lake at its best. We visited every year as I was growing up. The town was so much smaller then. I did work at a steak house a couple summers. There can be thousand boats on lake but because so many legs and it is so big, you could not see anyone else until at marina. Lot of good memories.
If this was your first time to Lake Powell, it definitely is one of the prettiest places you’ll see. It’s sucks that you couldn’t have seen it when it was more full because there are cool hiking trails and beautiful places to explore.
Pontoon boats are a lot of fun! We go every year to Alabama to visit family and they live on the Coosa River and we go out in the middle of the river and tie all the boats together and baby we have a good time!
Lake Powell is at historically low water levels. It may not exist in the future. Pray that they have major snow run off this winter and an epic monsoon season.
We go to lake powell and geta house boat every other year for 4th of july weekend. It always seems like hardly no one is there because the lake is so big. When in reality there are a lot of people there. Love lake powell :)

I was there in May! Whats crazy is that the water levels are 75ish ft below normal but it is still 2/3 of a mile deep in spots. On the big cliffs you can see where the water line was compared to where it is now, if you look closely you can see it in some of her clips! At 6:13 you can really see the line on the rocks that are towards the back right. If the rocks are all light colored and there's no dark line, then those rocks were completely submerged. p.s. I also stayed in Page and my trip there was also a shit show lol
Omg I’ve been here and had the fried avocado too! I actually thought it was so delicious lol Seems like this place is prone to inconvenience 😂 when I went my car got stuck in the sand it was the worst lol
