@@lalinski2322 Listen do NOT let ANYONE convince you not to do everything ur doing right. You planning everything out and learning japanese and figuring out everything u wanna do n see when u get there. Is the way to go. Before your any where near close going figure out EVERYTHING u need to do to get there n everything u wanna do once ur there. Figuring everything out ahead of time is the BEST way to do it. Most ppl dont do that and even if they had fun theres alot they didnt get to do or see cuz they didnt plan it all out. So they ended up not having enough time or missing things like festivals and parties. I STRONGLY advise u to go when there are festivals n plan accordingly. You will DEFF want to see the Cherry Blossom festival. My friend went n brought me back videos n pics n it WILL BLOW UR MIND AT HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS!! I would also advise u to plan out everything u wanna n then ADD 2 to 3 more days on top of that. That will give u time to recover from jet lag when u get there. So ur first day u dont do anything but get to the hotel n relax and go over EVERYTHING!! next day start doing it all. The day before last again just stay at the hotel n relax. Then the next day go home. This will help you out LIKE CRAZY!! Getting that rest the day u get there n the last day before u leave will give u all the energy u will need n help u calm urself down. Cuz ur gonna be INSANELY hyper n ready to go full tilt. Of course it will cost extra for them 2 days. But it WILL be worth ur while. One thing I HIGHLY advise u to do is right now before ur anywhere near going go on facebook or even dating sites or forums and find a couple of ppl that live there in the area ull mostly be at. Become GOOD friends with them. This WILL help you out tremendously. It will all be 1000X's BETTER if u have a friend that lives there. They can show u around and take u out to places that tourists normally do not go to ya know off the beaten track. And there are a bunch of places u will NOT be allowed into if ur a tourist. BUT if u have a local wit u they will let u in. Outta everything I said the 2 main ones u REALLY need to listen 2 is the rest days and becoming friends wit a local. If u do those 2 things u will have the BEST TIME OF UR LIFE!!! Of course u can just tell me to fuck off. But ppl like us that love Japan so much it will make it so much fun. That ull purposely find me again just to say how great it was that u listened to me. Also if u need ANY help AT ALL wit japan or have questions just hit me up at eiacopelli@gmail.com and I'll get back to u right away. Oh another tip make sure u ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS keep ir ID n Passpost with u EVERY SINGLE TIMEBU LEAVE THE HOTEL!! if u want more advice or help just email me and I'll help u out the best I can. For someone who cant ever travel because of health complications, you sir have given me the closest and most beautifully navigated video of actually being in Japan.I am so grateful
In Japan🇯🇵, there is a law that says that a person is not guilty of sexual intercourse with a saint if he or she is 13 years old and sexually consensual. 13 years old is the age when a person has just graduated from elementary school. Also, a law was passed this month that allows high school students to perform in adult films. The number of sex crimes against children is increasing every year. It is a country of pedophilia and Lolita complexes. What do you all think of this country?😉
@@fabianthomsen2638 Can it really replicate the experience of actually being there though? Can you experience the senses beyond the audiovisual? Can you smell the street foods, taste the delicacies, feel the breeze on your skin? What about luxuriate in the sounds and sights beyond the confines of the screen? I've travelled to some places and I've had dreams of them for decades afterwards because it's such an immersive sensory experience. I've never had a dream of the many countries I've explored on youtube (for literal hours and days). How do you find youtube travelling? Do you feel it's close enough to the real thing?
Hi Allan, This is by far one of the best well thought out Japan travel vlog I have seen. Content with maps, suggestions, plenty of footage, images and well spoken English i.e. not rushed. Thank you for sharing 👍
I think in my Japan adventure I really want to do it the other way around: See the hustle of the cities at first then go and relax in the mountains and nature to decompress. *Thanks for all the likes, I will be heading to Japan Aug 2023, my father passed away in Oct '22 and this video has given me inspiration for places to scatter some of his ashes. 🥲
thats what I did with my ~1 month long japan trip. Went to tokyo and osaka for like 2 weeks, 3rd week we went skiing in hokkaido, the final few days we spent christmas in tokyo
maybe they picked that rout to be close to the airport and not have to take into account the time needed to go back to tokyo which can take a day from your 14 day trip idk just my humble opinion
Bro I hate travel guides, but yours was so thorough and enjoyable that I can’t help to give thanks through a little bit of money. You deserve at least a bowl of ramen (hopefully you don’t live in CA because inflation sucks and this is barely enough). My girlfriend and I are going this January and this helped me so much with the planning/prep. It makes such a difference having a good, thorough but concise, and enjoyable guide. Thank you so much for the video and your help!
@@johns4651 yes am planning to go 2023-2024 i thought this was hopefully safest but who knows with new covid strains around. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
Fantastic video! I just returned from a month long vacation in Japan and it's the most beautiful country I've ever seen. The Japanese people are so kind, polite and gracious. The culture is amazing, the food is incredible and the scenery is stunning. I only left yesterday but I miss it already 💮🌸🏵🌺
I am a Japanese living in Okinawa. There are 47 prefectures in Japan, and I think that each of the 47 prefectures has 47 different charms. That's why I love this country. In addition to sushi, ramen, and sukiyaki, each prefecture has its own traditional cuisine, traditional culture, and wonderful scenery. For example, in Okinawa, where I was born and raised, there are many other unique Okinawan dishes such as Okinawa soba, goya chanpuru, pawpaw, and sata andagi. Also, since Okinawa was originally a single country called the Ryukyu Kingdom, it has its own culture and history. Karate is also a sport that originated in Okinawa. In terms of music, Sanshin, Eisa, and Kachaashi are famous. As you can see, Japan has more than just one attraction. I would like you to travel to Japan and find your favorite prefecture. I translated it so there may be some wrong English
Thank you for your wonderfully edited and narrated videos - your suggestions about Kyoto are great for first-timers and for seasoned Japanophiles. I particularly like your tone and your presence in these videos - tone is calm and respectful, presence is not "all about me and a little Japan too" but just right. Domo arigato gozaimasu!
I moved to Japan 4 years ago with my mother it took us time to adjust and we even thought of leaving but we stayed and I’m glad we did because a year later we went to koyasan and it was amazing to see in person one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
Great video! I’m Japanese residing in Tokyo, and I strongly agree that November is one of the best months to visit Japan especially Tokyo. The worst probably is summer… It is too humid and hot🥲lol Hope the pandemic will soon be over - and we can welcome you all to this beautiful country 😚
@Daenack Dranils too bad I'm too old now, I am in love with Japan since 1967, while leaving in Los Angeles, I had a Japanese girlfriend, she was studying and when her parents got to know of our relationship, they didn't approve it. I never saw her again and always wondered whatever happened to my beautiful Naomi...now with deep sadness I say...I am too old. SAYONARA Naomi, SAYONARA, Japan ...but you never know...
What a beautiful documentary of your trip! Watching this really made me reminisce my honeymoon back in Dec 2019 on my first trip to Japan. We had 11 days to travel and we went to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. It was tiring traveling to all of them in a short amount of time, but I loved it! The culture, the people, the food- I loved every minute of my stay in Japan. I can’t wait to come back with my husband. 😊
I also have an 11-day itinerary for these exact cities! I'd love to know if a 2 days Osaka/2 days Kyoto/1 day Nara/1 day Hakone(for the onsen)/5 days Tokyo is good enough in your opinion and experience?
@@silis_pap8473 for a first timer, that is good enough for the experience! And it all depends on your personality as well. I would have rather stayed in Kyoto a little more longer because I loved the chill vibes (still crowded tho), the history and landscape. Tokyo was more fast paced and much more crowded for me that sometimes it would tire me out. So it all depends on what you like.
I visited Japan two years ago. It was the best experience of my life. I will continue to return as much as I can. Thank you for the video since it rekindle my love for Japan.
okay i invested my 40 minutes well in this viedo, this has reignited my want to go live in japan, the scenes, culture, food and sights are just so amaazing and i think you have done the best job posible at capturing them. Thankyou for this materpiece
I've been planning a trip to Japan throughout the duration of the pandemic and every month or so I come back to this video to meticulously lay out my trip. This is honestly the best resource on all of TH-cam for an in-depth look at what Japan is like, and the HD captures with the ambient music/simple voiceover makes this such a serene watch. Keep up this amazing work, Allan!
Your camera work was incredibly amazing! You obviously didn't even use a drone yet you were also able to capture the scenery in the best ways possible. My jaw dropped when the screen switched to Hida Folk Village scene. Your minimal edits to the colors delivered the realest atmosphere and I definitely felt like I was there traveling throughout the entire video, the mountain scene at the onsen was my fav part. Also your voiceover was very clean and professional. Hope to see more Japan's videos from you in the future!
I really wanto go to Japan. Like,, its the top of my wishlist. Theres something about Japan thats just relate to me, and I want to feel the experience. Seeing your video wake up this deep desire within me and make me to keep going to saving up! Your itinerary video is SO detailed, you tell us about the season when you came, all of the name of the place, even for accomadation, your transportation, and you include your budget too! Thats SO HELPING! Youre amazing. Kudos to you man!
I am heading to Japan for 14 days in a few days from Bangkok. Your video was just perfect for someone who has never travelled to Japan. A huge thank you so much for all the detailed itinerary. A very special Kia Ora from New Zealand.
The shots you put together combined with the music make this video a truly magical experience to watch. Thank you for putting so much time and care into this video, and I hope I can see Japan soon!
Thank you for introducing Japan to everyone😆. I live in Kyoto and some foreign tourists behave annoyingly in Kyoto. I sincerely hope that kind-hearted people like you will visit the city for sightseeing and have a wonderful experience.
Absolutely beautiful and captivating video. This is the content i crave, no annoying vlogging or unnecessary stuff just quality content. This has to be the best video out there great job
Excellent video, thank you for sharing such a beauty with us. I’ve been to Japan many years ago ( in Kumamoto and Osaka) and I absolutely love it. The people are so polite and respectful! Their food was simply outstanding, so healthy and I low fat. I truly wish to visit Japan soon . Thank you once again and please stay safe !

I was in Japan last November. I was just around the Wakayama prefecture doing hikes, but it was one of the best experiences I've ever had, especially when I stayed in the house of locals and eating home-cooked meals by the owner of the house. Japan is one of the places I will definitely visit again.
I recently went to Japan for the first time, and it was a truly wonderful country. It's very clean, the people are kind, there's a lot to see, and the nature is beautiful. And the food is excellent. This video was very helpful .thank you❤
I absolutely loved going on holiday to Japan. The most beautiful place I've ever been to. Went to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima, saw so many amazing places in each area. I definitely want to go again one day and explore even more parts I haven't been to yet. Amazing video explaining it all. Thank you!
As someone who has visited Japan four times and wants to return over and over, this video amazing and perfect. You have done an incredible job. The footage is stunning and captures the beauty and wonder we have when we visit Japan.
@@tanvib5871 Hi, it depends where you go. The people in Tokyo seem quite good at English. If you go to a rural area there is definitely a language barrier.
Thank you Allan for this amazing video, we pretty much followed your route after watching the Iceland video and visited last June. I came across this video whilst staying in Kyoto a few days ago, I started to watch and recognized your calm voice from the Iceland video and so watched this through. (I also subscribed of course). Our next destination was Osaka, but after watching your video, we decided to go to Koyasan first. I had never heard of the place and would definitely have missed it. We went yesterday - 19th February 2023, it was was raining hard, misty and fairly cold (snow on the ground). We started with the Danjō-garan temple complex and had the place completely to ourselves, the rain and mist added to the experience and was one of the best days of my life. We have travelled to over 40 countries including many over the past 9 months and Koyasan for me rates right up there with the best places in the world. We also spent a fair while at the Cemetery which was also an amazing experience that we will not forget. Thank you so much for letting us know about this place and for making such awesome videos. We will definitely check where Allan went before finalizing out itinerary in future!
this is probably one of the best video edit of Japan. I love the color grading and the flow, its so relaxing... I miss Japan... Wishing this pandemic would be over soon so we can all travel again. Thanks again for this video!
I love Allan's videography & I'm finally watching this video to plan an upcoming 1 month trip to Japan! Thank you Allan. Your work is beautiful and your videos are my first stop in planning trips.
I was trying to decide whether to go back to Japan in the spring or autumn (as last time I went in winter) and was very tempted by cherry blossom season in spring but my gosh the autumnal foliage is absolutely gorgeous. I'm in awe 😭 This was so beautifully filmed and especially like the extra suggestions you gave in each place for extra days. I'm so glad you and your partner had a great time!
It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Japan one day. After watching this video it’s now become my goal to visit Japan in the next 5 years. Amazing work, thank you.
Thanks to you i was able to organise trip with my friends from Czech republic to Japan and we saw a lot of places that you visited in the video. it was awesome and thank you i would remember it for the rest of my life. 💚
What an incredible video! I legit want to completely copy every step you took. I think I might add a few days though because I like to go at a leisurely pace. I have to say, this is actually the best travel-oriented video I've seen on TH-cam, and I've seen quite a lot!
The central area of Japan is lovely. If you are planning subsequent visits to Japan, I strongly encourage you to visit Tohoku (above Tokyo) and Kyushu (southern). They are a lot less crowded.
Thank you for your amazing and absolutely not trivial tips. We are just back from our amazing trip in Japan that we organized mostly following your video. Thank you, thank you, thank you from Italy!

@@gokuthesaiyan5599 we are definitely visiting as many Buddhist and Shinto shrines/temples as possible. But a mosque is a fantastic suggestion as well!
Ya been setting up a trip to Japan for awhile now hoping 2023 gonna be My year ! Super grateful for your skills though beautifully set and helpful for people who wanna set some spots in there itenary and fun options . You da man
My Brother and I are going to Japan this Spring too, for 1 month! Couldn’t be more excited.
私は日本に住んでいますが、旅行は11月、4月くらいがいいと思います😆
11月なら動画のような紅葉が、4月前半は桜が見れるからです🌸
Japan has done brilliantly in preserving its history, culture and heritage. I am definitely visiting soon.
Well, some of it anyhow. The more rural stuff died out by the 1920s sadly. But so did Victorian England's rural cultures.
u will easily find rural stuff out of Tokyo.@@OnlyGrafting

For someone who cant ever travel because of health complications, you sir have given me the closest and most beautifully navigated video of actually being in Japan.I am so grateful
Best of luck to you. I'll make sure I appreciate every place I travel to knowing there's others who never can
I too am unable to travel, yet, get so much out of these videos. It's truly the next best thing
I do most of my traveling on youtube. Have a nice day,,😊
@@fabianthomsen2638 Can it really replicate the experience of actually being there though?
Thank you Jenny

japan is always give me that chill lofi vibes, idk why it's so calming
Hi I'm Japanese and I must say your itinerary is perfect.

Exactly
thats what I did with my ~1 month long japan trip. Went to tokyo and osaka for like 2 weeks, 3rd week we went skiing in hokkaido, the final few days we spent christmas in tokyo
@@IWantToStayAtYourHouse thanks good idea. How was Chirstmas in Tokyo?
maybe they picked that rout to be close to the airport and not have to take into account the time needed to go back to tokyo which can take a day from your 14 day trip idk just my humble opinion
@@HariziMohamed Then why not pick the other airport (on the way back)?
Japan calms my soul on another level
Bro I hate travel guides, but yours was so thorough and enjoyable that I can’t help to give thanks through a little bit of money. You deserve at least a bowl of ramen (hopefully you don’t live in CA because inflation sucks and this is barely enough).
My girlfriend and I are going this January and this helped me so much with the planning/prep. It makes such a difference having a good, thorough but concise, and enjoyable guide. Thank you so much for the video and your help!
Currently in Japan so I'll have a bowl of ramen in your honor! Thank you my man
Probably one of the most detailed and amazing vlogs I've seen featuring Japan. I'm so astounded by Japan's culture so beautiful.
Beetle bailey ❤
I love Japan ❤❤
I was originally going to do Tokyo -> Kyoto -> Osaka next March, but this really changed my mind.
Add Hiroshima and Okinawa if you can fit them Okinawa is my favorite part of japan.
Add Hokkaido, it's my favorite
There is no chance Japan will be open for tourism in March 2022. I'd plan for 2023 or safer 2024/25.
yeah in 14 you is correct
@@johns4651 yes am planning to go 2023-2024 i thought this was hopefully safest but who knows with new covid strains around. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
Fantastic video! I just returned from a month long vacation in Japan and it's the most beautiful country I've ever seen. The Japanese people are so kind, polite and gracious. The culture is amazing, the food is incredible and the scenery is stunning. I only left yesterday but I miss it already 💮🌸🏵🌺
We did 7/8 nights and only wished to have stayed longer..a dream come true for us also❤
Where did u stay for a month? Hotel?
Thank you for this, and the English here is very good!
sata andagi
Woah I never knew that
Hey
is it the same Okinawa from the karate kid?
Were you tought what IKIGAI is?
curious to know

The worst probably is summer… It is too humid and hot🥲lol
Hope the pandemic will soon be over - and we can welcome you all to this beautiful country 😚
Lovely comment! Visiting Japan in 2019 was my favourite trip ever 🌼
I REALLY WANT TO GO TO JAPAN
@Daenack Dranils too bad I'm too old now, I am in love with Japan since 1967, while leaving in Los Angeles, I had a Japanese girlfriend, she was studying and when her parents got to know of our relationship, they didn't approve it. I never saw her again and always wondered whatever happened to my beautiful Naomi...now with deep sadness I say...I am too old. SAYONARA Naomi, SAYONARA, Japan ...but you never know...
@@ricardoestupinan7139 don't worry.
@Daenack Dranils don't u have manners? Is this how u speak to a old man?
One the best vlogs I've ever seen!
And truly no country can offer as Japan does! Best Ever!

The footage is stunning and captures the beauty and wonder we have when we visit Japan.
hi! did you find communication there with locals easy? or was there a large language barrier?

U need to make multiple trips to Japan. Winter in tohoku and Sapporo and autumn/spring in other areas 😆
Damn you were so lucky 😭
It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Japan one day. After watching this video it’s now become my goal to visit Japan in the next 5 years. Amazing work, thank you.

My friends and I did a similar route back in January of 2020. I will say, one of my favourite places was the cemetery in Koyasan. We even did a nighttime tour lead by a monk, so peaceful and fascinating.
