Listening to how fabulous these guys were, their voices, the exquisite harmony that came to them so easily, their stage craft and charm which oozes out of every pore, how I wish I had the superpower to turn the clock back and make time stand still right there. This is pure class that invades every cell of your mind and body, taking your breath away awash with emotion and happy thoughts. And no matter how many times you've heard it that never wanes. Joy, joy, joy! To think this very real talent has been replaced by grunting rappers with all their violence and misogyny just beggars belief. I long for those days which are long gone, and feel genuinely sorry for the young people now who have been so badly influenced and sorely deprived by the tuneless dross that's churned out today.
The world would be a much better place if the music was like this today. Words had meaning and feeling. If you werent in love, you damn sure wanted to be.
These cats are like the Whispers their stage performance is almost like listening to the record. And their harmonizing is tight like the Whispers, both groups could sing anything and make it sound good. God bless these warriors of a bygone illustrious past when you could "feel" the music and in my opinion it really meant something.
