James Repstock And at what cost, hmm? Despite everything she is, Flemmeth is still a Mother. Like she said, Morrigan was never in any danger from her.
James Repstock --It was easier to see the "sadness" if Morrigan has to find her son. Im not sure if its the user Dialog choices or just more info in that choice-line, but They both, Morrigan & Flemeth, show more emotions.
But Flemeth regrets maybe the steps but I would never call it sadness. Flemeth appears to be somewhat of a time traveler- she knows things before anyone else could possibly. She knew how things would play out but she regrets having to spend the majority of her time planning these things and being in different times/dimensions while Morrigan needed her. She could've simply explained herself but didn't feel Morrigan would've been ready (and she wouldn't have been). Instead she let Morrigan naturally come into her modern self. Flemeth found the fact Morrigan was outraged humorous, remember? "Is that what you believe??" Flemeth/Mythal is the mother side of her, Flemeth the woman was probably not motherly.
So interesting to me now, knowing that flemeth/mythal sent morrigan with the grey wardens. Solas hates grey wardens because they kill archedemons and destroy the souls of the old gods, morrigan was unknowingly sent as an attempt to preserve one of those souls.
We are assuming that the old gods are somewhat linked to the evanuris tho. Another explanation would be that grey wardens corrupt themselves to fight evil and maybe Solas finds that extremely unwise to the brink of stupidity.Or maybe he sees the wardens as himself when he divided the fade to counter the evanuris and seeing now what meant using forces he couldn't really understand makes him think low of them as much as he thinks a failure of himself.
@@bruttokane8846 Another possibility is that something even worse than the blights will occur if/when all the archdemons are slain. There's a banter where Solas badgers Blackwall about the Grey Wardens' purpose and what they will do once all the last archdemon is killed. He seems to be implying that the idea that no more old gods/archdemons = no more darkspawn/blights is wrong.

If there is one thing Inquisition did amazingly it is the voice acting on most characters and also the facial expressions on pretty much every character. Granted, sometimes it looks like they have sticks up their asses judging by their expressions, but the way Morrigan looks when she's in disbelief is really good. I very much enjoy Claudia Black's voice acting. She has that sultry, experienced, confident, yet sometimes still naive and sweet, voice. Morrigan is one of my most favourite female characters in any game, due to her sass and sarcasm being quite on-point and you don't feel there being ANY undertone by the developers to it. She's just who she is. And I just have to add that Flemeth's voice actor is definitely amazing. It's just so natural and actually quite imposing. It takes alot to make me feel that Female characters aren't shoehorned into a role, but these two are just perfect, brought to life by their Voice Actresses.
2:11 - Every time I hear this line I half expect credits to roll. For some reason it seems to bear an uncanny resemblance to a cliff hanger on a TV Show.
Right, so in my dragon age origins game, Morrigan basically hard-carried the entire party. Simply because she was the first character I (through sheer luck) set up properly and knew how to use. At the end of the game, every other character was just holding the enemies back while she single-handedly dealt with entire armies. I see that nothing had changed with inquisition.
Lmao in my first playyhrough Morrigan Became my CC character(Mind blast,Grasping cold,Cone of Cold, Blizzard, and Sleep) then my warden has devastating spells (Arc of lightning and inferno)

I made Morrigan drink from the well as my canon world state, but if it means Solas will use her and being killed in the process I would change it immediately with no second thoughts.

Sorry Inquis, but i worked way to hard to set Morrigan and my Warden up, he already lost his family once. Im not letting that happen again.
Yeah this is what I assume as well. She sends something through the Eluvian to Morrigan which I assume is the soul of Urthemiel, so hopefully it'll help her if The Dread Wolf tries to use her.
@@nicksalehi97 NP. It's also possible that what Flemeth did was pass on the dragon shapeshift ability to her daughter when she touched her forehead, which shouldn't be too big a leap, since she can shapeshift already to some extent. I recall in DA2, Hawke actually gets the chance to ask if he/she could learn it, and Flemeth just chuckled and said "If only a clever tongue was all one needed.", implying it was possible, but nowhere near as simple.
chiffmonkey I thought the way shapeshifting worked was that, after learning to shapeshift, one just needs to study an animal to become it. Morrigan never studied dragons, but Flemeth did, which was why she could turn into one. Either Flemeth gave Morrigan the knowledge to turn into a dragon when she touched her forehead, or Morrigan learned enough about dragons from the Well to do it herself.
Barrex912 I think the problem is that I hadn't played most of DAO or ANY of DA2, and other than this scene this hadn't caused a single issue in understanding what was going on. This scene is the only bit that requires knowledge of the rest of the series.
In her last line is Flemeth saying that her previous daughters willingly gave up thier bodies for her to inhabit and is that morrigan was never in danger?? Confused much
Yeah, it turns out that Morrigan was never actually in danger, she just read about the body switching thing and misunderstood it as unwilling possession when it actually involves Flemeth transferring her soul into her daughters to preserve Mythal.

+Maples01 Which could lead to Flemeth actually taking over Morrigan's body like what was said in Origins. Man, if that were to happen, and if the player had romanced her in Origins (like I did), then the Hero of Ferelden is going to be one ticked off Warden!

Which is total BS, but that's a whole new can of worms).
KHMDarkness No, Flemeth carried Mythal's soul, the eleven temple predated Flemeth, so again I tell you, Flemeth is not going to be in you for drinking. Origins explained Mythal came to Flemeth, they bring it up again in this game, basically it's the soul of an old god, remember the dark ritual? I have done a playthrough on both consoles, and fully completed all DLC on my xbox one, yes Solas has one dedicated with him, opening for the next game. Did you not do the dark ritual, you see the old god removed from the child, so being one and the same is not correct, but I'd say due to her age, from prolonging her life that Flemeth would not exist without Mythal, and if you saw after the credits you'd see they pass on.
Sasha Naronin not if they do it right. They could make it be a focus ability and put it on a timer. We only saw her turn into a dragon for one battle. They could use that in the next game to make her focus ability be to turn into a dragon for a few seconds and kill everything around her.
I'm guessing no dark ritual was performed in this playthrough? Because in my case, Alistair had had the pleasure of Morrigan's company for one night, thereby completing the dark ritual. And in that instance, Kieran was lured into the Eluvian by Flemeth, who extracted the soul of the Archdemon from him. (Also, my inquisitor took it upon herself to drink from the Well.)
I really just hope they fix the character postures in the next game. I hate seeing everyone slouching all the time like that. It’s ugly and doesn’t make sense
Did this scene happen if Morrigan didnt have a child that have the old god soul? And what happen to the dragon that we suppose to control or did Flemeth think that Morrigan can't control the dragon and gave something else?

Why didn't I meet Flemeth after Morrigan drank from the well? :( In DAO I "killed" her, then in DAI I allied with the elves before letting Morrigan drink but Flemeth didn't show up at all. Is this supposed to happen?
from what ive been hearing morrigan won't be in dragon age dreadwolf which is kind of disappointing but said flemmeth will which is kind of intriguing wonder now if this will be before flemmeth took in morrigan guess i have to wait and see
I'm going to assume u meant she*. In that case no, to my understanding Flemeth just gifted her the knowledge to shift into a dragon (seen in the final battle with this world state) similar to how Flemeth also turned into a dragon on the opening parts of DA2
+jenny talia They are/were both gods, their form is old, so they are weak, it is why Solas gave the orb to Corifious, Solas lacked the power to activate it, was hoping Corifious would, but instead, it was perverted by the use of blood magic. Flemeth cheats death by using objects, you've seen in the second game, as your mission, unknown to you was to bring her back toward the beginning of the game, who ever drank from the well is the next vessel for Mythal, which I think was the whole plan in the first game, Morrigan's role, the child she was to bear with the warden containing the old god would revitalize Mythal. Obviously something is coming, as the old gods in the ground, perverted by darkspawn, and the 2 we now know who have been in hiding, who's side are they on, we know Flemeth helped in Origins to stop the blight by saving 2 wardens in Ferelden, as for Solas, he only helped in cleaning up a situation in which he created, be it inadvertently or not.
+jenny talia I tried to resist too much spoilers on my first play through, so I was surprised at the end clip after the credits. the game has some cool turns in it, tying it in with events in Origins, I especially like Hakkon's connecting elves with humans.
did u get this option if u died at the final battle of DAO and didnt choose the safe bubble method. Or can u still get this option if u decide to have the kid with morrigan?
Why in this scene Morrigan call the red lyrium dragon archedemon? Then is a real Archedemon because he have Corypheus soul who can mimic the calling. Red lyrium dragon=Archedemon?
She doesn't care, in the 2nd game she said she Morrigan attacking her didn't bother her but it was the fact she acts like she know everything but wasn't sure how to feel about her.
This happens if Morrigan's Ritual is not completed? I shouldn't be watching then. I haven't done a playthrough with Morrigan's RItual uncompleted yet. :D
What jerky, crappy animation... Also does anyone feel that Flemeth was designed for something different in the beginning? In Dragon Age Origins she was an old swamp witch who originally jumped from body to body; absorbing the powers of her daughters, taking on their appearance and memories so she can basically live forever while getting stronger. Dragon Age 2 came and the Witch became a Warrior, kind of stupid choice if you ask me but hey whatever. The whole "I'm after Morrigan" dropped off right here and the Dalish had a pact with her, weird stuff but it strayed from the original idea. Dragon Age 3 just changed everything and put it on it's head.
Yeah, I'm with Tristan. We were never meant to understand Flemeth or who she was. They definitely went really far with what she was after DA:O, but it's not a massive reach seeing as she transforms into a dragon in it, which is something only an incredibly powerful person could do. It always implied she was more than what she was whenever you interacted with her, and that you could never really understand who she is. Although, to be fair, this does support what Morrigan tells you in Origins. That Flemeth begged for help after her husband was killed and her new husband was the killer. A spirit came to her, granting her power that allowed her to do what she needed. Whether or not the husband part is true is hard to say because even Morrigan tells you, in Origins, that Flemeth isn't a truthful person. We always assumed it was a demon that binded because that's the vibe Flemeth gave off. But honestly, this isn't that far off of the story Morrigan gave us in Origins.

xLetalis I know that bit but Morrigan should understand the voices more so why does she not know?
_ Serpon writer's mistake I guess, given that she tells you herself (that it's not an archdemon)
Flemmeth voice reminds me of Captain Janeway from VOY
It is her.
Why didn't I meet Flemeth after Morrigan drank from the well? :( In DAO I "killed" her, then in DAI I allied with the elves before letting Morrigan drink but Flemeth didn't show up at all. Is this supposed to happen?
This happens at a specific altar, it's not directly after the well.
Wait one fucking second, you mean I didn't have to fight that high dragon? Okay fuck you BioWare.
That dragon was ridiculously easy though???
from what ive been hearing morrigan won't be in dragon age dreadwolf which is kind of disappointing but said flemmeth will which is kind of intriguing wonder now if this will be before flemmeth took in morrigan guess i have to wait and see
well this comment aged some type of way
Can i Play as the warden Commander in this game from DA Origins?
no
Wait, so he inhereted part of the spirit? (I am still getting into Dragon Age's lore, so pardon my ignorance).
I'm going to assume u meant she*. In that case no, to my understanding Flemeth just gifted her the knowledge to shift into a dragon (seen in the final battle with this world state) similar to how Flemeth also turned into a dragon on the opening parts of DA2
"Flemeth Greatly Approves" lmfao!!!
So... Solas is the Dread Wolf now. Is Flemeth - Mythal - friend or foe?
+Maples01 Yeah I made a premature comment before seeing the true ending of Inquisition.
+jenny talia I tried to resist too much spoilers on my first play through, so I was surprised at the end clip after the credits. the game has some cool turns in it, tying it in with events in Origins, I especially like Hakkon's connecting elves with humans.
Is this a part of the epilogue? I'm concerned to finish the game as of yet because I don't want to do it and never get to experience this in game.
This must be if you didn't do the ritual in origins. Lol I was so confused before coming to this realization
So Flemeth would have never possessed Morrigan's body?
I guess...
What's the name of the track, that plays during this scene? I can't find it.
There's a little something on the end of your Inquisitor's nose...
did u get this option if u died at the final battle of DAO and didnt choose the safe bubble method. Or can u still get this option if u decide to have the kid with morrigan?
I'm going to be there soon in my current playthrough and I'll make videos about it
Mrdukeofnuke55 xLetalis This is what happens if the dark ritual is rejected and the child is not born.
ok ty
or if the son doesn't have the soul of the old god. This is possible if you romanced Morrigan, like me, but didn't complete the ritual
No Dragon battle then?
+JrMynt There is always a dragon battle.
Morrigan have a Witcher eye
Ah so this is if you don't trap the archdeamons soul
When does this happen i had morrigsn drink from tne well and nothing?
A little after the drinking part.
Proof it was Morrigan's destiny, Origins, the fear of Flemeth, she can not take someone, they must give themselves freely, which Morrigan finally did
She did when
@@XParthurnax When she drank from the well willingly
when does this happen? when I saw it it was morrigans son in the fade
she doesn't have a son in this walkthrough
What quest is this? Is this from the DLC?
no, this is part of the main game and the main story
@@xLetalis so if u kill flemeth in the first game wat happens
@@beastmode1331 nothing
@@beastmode1331 Actually killing Flemeth in origins doesn't have any consequence since she is resurrected by Hawke in Dragon Age 2.
Never got this scene in my play through, how did you trigger it.
Morrigan has to drink from the well
xLetalis first and only time I got it was after I drank from it, I was playing a Mage though which could be why I was able to summon Mythal myself
What's the theme in this one?
What is the Herold wearing. help please
2:14 Trololololololo
I see this style of hair is quite popular for the Inquisitor (I chose it too :P).
Bow to the one true hipsterish hairstyle, mortals!
Why in this scene Morrigan call the red lyrium dragon archedemon? Then is a real Archedemon because he have Corypheus soul who can mimic the calling. Red lyrium dragon=Archedemon?
I hope that in the last dragon age game flemeth is the main antagonist
It'll be Solas.
that doesn't look likely, but anything can happen i guess
the best-damn-person-ever
Solas is
the best-damn-person-ever Hero of ferelden :(
the best-damn-person-ever The best is when we can play with morrigan, alistair or the hero of ferelden but this dont happen :(
where did you get the armor ?!
Its part of a dlc
Song?
this is good
Does this happen if you killed flemith in origins?
Yep. In the events of Dragon age 2 hawke actually resurrects her with a magic thingo she gives you before the warden kills her.
wait Morrigan's ears....
WHAT??????????!!!!!!!!!!!
Boo.... fighting dragon was much cooler
Terry Roberts. Maybe, but I feel this morrigan gaining the powers of the well makes more sense.
Terry Roberts Now there's a man of reason.
Not enough pretty colors and loud noises for you?
What is the name of that armor?
it's the one you get as a preorder bonus
Right, thank you!
The light armor of the dragon
So I take it this is what happens when you don't take Morrigan's offer in DAO?
yes
I'm going to think that this is a descended from Kreia in KoTOR 2, she's like a lesser version
1:58
And what would have happend if you killed flemeth in da origins? Would she still forgive morrigan?
+Emily Ak this is actually what happens :)
xLetalis oh sorry, I just,...well ^^" thanks
She doesn't care, in the 2nd game she said she Morrigan attacking her didn't bother her but it was the fact she acts like she know everything but wasn't sure how to feel about her.
It must suck for a Dalish Warden that romanced Morrigan and then finds out that Flemeth is Mythal later on.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit!"
This happens if Morrigan's Ritual is not completed? I shouldn't be watching then. I haven't done a playthrough with Morrigan's RItual uncompleted yet. :D
Morrigan being super hot
Same with Flemeth...
Without my boy Kieran... this feels weird
i let her drink in my first run, then never again on repeats, i don't want the wife of my warden bound eternaly to her mom
uuuuuuuh when was this scene meant to happen?
is this what hapens if she never has keiren?
aryan826 Yes.
I am Hello I think it's to show no one really knew who Flemeth actually was. It was touched on in Origins I believe that Flemeth was Mythal.
I am Hello i
Yeah, I'm with Tristan.
This was the only time I actually started to feel sorry for Morrigan.
So Morrigans boobs shrunk and Flemeths grew? erm ok lol
