Cliff didn’t meet me, but my brother did when he lived as a high schooler at a camp. According to my older brother, he was the most sincere basketball player he's ever come across. My older brother had the privilege of going to his basketball camp as a high schooler and showing him respect while playing mini scrimmages with the other players. Despite all that, he was an outgoing and friendly person, which my brother shared that story with me. As a result of Cliff's encouragement, he went on to play college basketball at the top level before moving overseas to play basketball. Your memory lives on, Cliff.
Cliff Robinson. Not a bad word was ever said about his work in the game, and he did a very large share of the work that got PDX to the finals. His movement reminds me a bit of Kemp and Jordan. He floated and was so strong, like Pippen but they moved differently. He and Clyde were equally important to that team. Is he top 50 of all time? He definitely deserves HOF, and it looks like he made it . Congrats Cliffy!

Saw Cliff his freshman year against St. John’s and you knew then he was a special player. Most underrated UConn player ever. RIP Cliff
