It would have worked better as a 2-D series With a low budget project a 3-D show will be a frustrating to make it look good is the best way I can describe it the models look low quality which I get with a fan made That’s why I would be better if it was 2d I will say the animation makes the show watchable but it’s not incredible anything In my opinion
@@charles-rl7op 2D would actually be far more work with characters this complex, with 3D characters you just model/rig them once and they're good for whatever you need
If masterpieces like this are possible, I don't see how dragons are some of the hardest things to animate. IceWings aren't known for swimming, but there's no reason a dragon can't be equally good at swimming and flying. That's the reason the frost dragon is my favorite from Drake's Comprehensive Compendium of Dragonology.
My jaw has dropped from my skull, through the ground, past the bowels of the earth, and has utilized gravity to return to me. The ART the ANIMATION the STORYTELLING! The designs are so creative! The history of animus powers was so impressive!
I can already see without it even being out yet that this will be awesome. Only read all the books recently and since then have been blown away by the fans and all the content that gets made. I mean THIS looks incredible!

@@Animiribi fr, I went back to reread the wof series (again x 35555) after watching a lot of wof content and it was strange The thing that part of the community is bad at is telling the truth about wether or not “TUi SaiD iT sO AcTUaLly uR sTuPid” it’s soooo annoying when people have these headcannons and then lie to the community that they have been confirmed and people actually believe it and spread it but nothing is perfect and I still like the whole series except part of book ten epilogue, some of book thirteen, and all of book fifteen
I love how facially expressive and emotive these arctic dragons are! Lord Ferox's glare at 2:26. Petrel's palpable fear at 6:15-6:16 when she hears the horn, or Skua's resolve at 6:49 as well as her irritation at yet more of Petrel's verbal abuse (6:51). Speaking of which, the sad thing is, Skua joins the royal army to get out of a toxic relationship with her sister. Petrel hanging her head in shame is just another prime example of the emotion in this budding masterpiece of a fan series.
The beginning part was so creative visually and with the story telling! It makes me think that this has been part of icewing mythology for ages. No wonder the tribe hates the Nightwings so much considering they think they took away their animus magic.

I will admit im not use to seeing 3D WOF based animation but this was epic! My favorite scene was the flight fter fishing, you could practically see how the wind was catching their wings!!

One little thing you must notice! When skua came out of the water her jaw clipped with the island. I also noticed some clipping between Nyx's arm spikes or back spikes, which is definitely a big issue. and at 4:42 nyx's hand clips through the snow. 5:57 skuas tail clips through the wall, that needs some fixing up. If you work on those physics as if it were like a real tail, like floor draggers, they have physics that touch things and react to them. this would make a physical and better improvement, keep up the good work tho bi
The story is good! The animation is ok. And the dragons are COOL!!! I do have a few suggestions on how to improve if that's okay with you: 1. A few effects (Example: water splashes) 2. Slightly more natural movement (especially flight) 3. A bit more sounds (Example: landing) But the episode is cool!
The opening was beautiful, the modeling was very well done and the movements felt natural! I'm excited for the rest of this series, this is a super awesome start!

Honestly, the intro was amazing. But the minute I noticed this wasn’t 2D and was 3D animation, this has absolute potential. I love it.
