you’re partially responsible for why i picked daniel as my name when i started to socially transition as a transgender man. i watched your videos with friends for most of my teen years, and they started to call me dan because of it. it stuck! now i’m about the same age you were when i started watching your content, and i’m legally changing it in the next year or so.
(i don’t think you’ll see this, it’ll probably get lost. but i wanted to share anyway because i think it’s cool at least)

As fellow trans man that's awesome, I didn't choose that name for myself but Dan and Phil really got my spirits up back when I was 15 going through stuff so it's nice to see how there's others that have a similar connection to their content ❤️❤️

I think maybe Dan stressed too much about video ideas and having them be ‘perfect’, but instead I think these kinds of videos are perfect. It’s a fcked up world at the moment and you perfectly reflect the chaotic, humble, honest, morbid, yet fun, random and real energy I feel but can’t put into words. We’re a community again🤣You’re doing great sweetie please keep doing the series x

this might actually be my favorite ever dan howell upload. something about him rightfully so roasting his audience and then pleasantly reading out their life updates with bird is very refreshing
when dan tweeted the "i'll roast your interior design choices" tweet i was in the middle of moving out into college so for a brief 3 day period my room was entirely empty with the exception of a desk and a bed with my 2015 dan ikea bedsheets and i felt like no one should have to see that image

I wasn’t expecting that Dan’s return would be the adult centred epilogue to DINOF but I’m honestly so happy to be back! I’ve missed the dan-isms that now feel much more authentic and I love the format. It’s also like a class reunion where only the weird (and interesting) kids are invited. To all of you who like me spent your teens on this channel and were emerging into your twenties when Dan stopped uploading, I’ve missed you all and hope you’re recovering from having no friends in school :)

Honestly Dan you've saved my life a million times over again. Especially the last months since you announced your tour, I'm seeing you in Sweden in February and nothing is making me happier then thinking about that. You know as well as we do that there is no "ending" the tour anyway, Dan. You may believe you have left it physically, but it only takes the tiniest little glitch in the fabric of reality, looking away from one spot just a little too fast, lingering in the same place just a little too long. Then, you will feel it. The tour never really left. It was just walking towards you while you were foolishly resting, unaware of its coming. Its black void slowly engulfing your senses, your eyes, your mouth, until there is no going back. You have become the tour. And when you realize that you're stuck here forever, you will n e v e r w a n t t o l e a v e . :)
