It sounds like some people are jealous of everything you have going for you. In case you need to hear this, you are amazing and so accomplished to be apartment shopping at your age. You should be very proud of yourself, and most people would LOVE to be in your situation. Keep going.

Love your videos! Lot’s of character in all of these apartments. Could you please do a video on having a dog in NYC, what it’s like in regards to dog walks? How many walks does you dog get per day, is it difficult to have a dog without a yard?

I considered building a home in Arizona from scratch but material has been tough lately. I’m basing it really off of location, light, and price at this pt
Congratulations on the hunt. Good for you for doing your due diligence.. I wouldn't wait too long on accumulating more money as property prices are probably going to project up. I would get a spot you like then use that money on upgrades later
I know what you mean. I lived in Manhattan for years, in studio apts, in a one bedroom and I had people constantly ask my why I live in the city when I could have a house for what I'm paying. Hello, I don't want a house. I had to leave NYC when my job moved, and I'm in the burbs now, not my thing at all, and even here, the realtor asked me why I'm looking for such a small house. Hello, once again, it's me, my husband and a 9 lb dog, how much room do we need. Being NY'ers we're used to small spaces and don't have a problem with it. My husband passed away and I'm thinking of moving back to the city, and, of course, I'll have to put up with comments....why are you doing that? Are you crazy? Omg, people, I'm not dragging you with me, why should you care where I live? I live where I'm happy, and happiness in my book is not having a giant McMansion somewhere. If that's your thing, fine, it's not mine. I could move back into a studio apt tomorrow and it wouldn't bother me in the least. I don't understand it either. If you're so happy where you are, why is it so important where I live? I just don't get that.
They’re just jealous at the end of day or projecting their insecurities of what they cannot achieve or put up with on you! Why wouldn’t you want to live in such a cosmopolitan thriving city?! A woman older probably my mothers age moved into one of our studios bc her children all left the nest! She likes city life! Why be in the boring burbs.
@@joymae You go where you're happy. I'm not a house person, and I'm stuck now with this house since my husband passed away. I'm so used to small NYC apts that even though I have a small house, I don't run around it ,room to room. I'm either in my office where I'm online, I go down the hall to make coffee and come back to my office. I have 3 rooms here with the doors closed and only go into them every so often to dust/vacuum. They serve no purpose. One thing about NYC apts, you never save junk, because there's no room to put anything extra, which is a good thing.
I found you by accident, but I'm glad I did. You have a unique look, and are gorgeous. Idk what is, or isn't "politically correct" anymore, but is it offensive nowadays to ask someone what their ethnicity is lol? I'm just curious to yours, because you're so beautiful. That's so cool about the birds nest story from your Dad, there are nests right above my back, and side door lol. As a visitor, I Love NYC! I haven't been there for awhile, but I can't wait to go back. I used to go a couple times a year. Good luck with your apartment hunt, and everything else in life.

@@joymae Very Welcome, Congrats on the new place, wise investment, NYC might seem on the decline but it will only rise again.. you'll definitely see the benefits of owning instead of renting, I bought my property in Florida for less than 80 Grand in 2013 and it's worth 250 000 now...
