I don’t know if I like this new version of FOE. Everything is so overpowered that basically everyone starts at 0 and all I did more than one year ago doesn’t matter. I was loosing interest for a long time. I don’t know why I should keep playing.
I came to the same conclusion myself.. I've spent so many diamonds over the last 5 years and practically every single event building released before 2023 is useless now. They're also making the game more pay to win with more real money requirements. I expect expansions for real money to come very soon
I wish they would have event prizes to set your city collection time earlier by 1 hour. Even though I collect every day on time, the collection time slips just a bit every day. Also, a 1 hour adjustment would take care of daylight saving time.
9:23 When deciding which expansions to take, I look at the buildings that will need to be built in the future. You may bring this up later in this video, but I'm just commenting as I watch. 18:00 I see this as a mix between Mughal and space colonies.
I would be interested in Polynesia if inno hadn't made all my years long settlement work worthless by outdating almost all the rewards. I still have the Viking Yggdrasil, but most of the other hard earned rewards are replaced by current events. They could keep updating the boosts on those items you earned from settlements and your Giant Buildings.

The extra time is useful to absorb the time needed to build the production building. Also you have the foe helper so you can check how much the expansion cost.
I play another game that's on 23 hrs instead of 24 hrs. It's great when I'm too tired to get up on time. After a few days I'm back on schedule. In Forge it gets later and later then I say screw it and don't collect for a day.
With Polynesia now on Beta, have the other settlements (and rewards) been updated yet on Beta as well? Or is it ONLY the new settlement for now? That is, do older settlements have any changes to their quest/task rewards or not, comparable with those in the new Polynesia settlement? Have the old settlement main building stats been updated yet? Are the smaller secondary reward buildings unchanged or buffed? If there aren't any changes to the quest/task rewards on the other/older settlements, the Polynesia settlement is clearly MUCH better to play than anything else.
The main buildings have been buffed, but otherwise I think everything is the same in the other settlements. But they have mentioned future improvements, so hopefully we'll see more soon :)
Can u do the guide about easy collecting cider gardens? People require units of the highest era! You were recommended to me by the channel "Светлые начинают и выигрывают"
Cider Gardens require having an Autumn Vineyard, from the Fall event. If you don't have that, you are out of luck, and will have to wait for the next Fall event later in 2024. If you have an Autumn Vineyard at level 9, it produces one fragment each day of the Shroom Throne and Granny Aurora's apple tree, but only if motivated. Make sure that your Vineyard is motivated daily, use a self-aid kit if necessary before collecting. The level 9 Vineyard will also produce fragments of a silver upgrade ("Rustic Autumn Vineyard"), and the silver upgrade will produce fragments of a golden upgrade ("Vibrant Autumn Vineyard"), and you want to upgrade your vineyard to max level as soon as possible, as the Vibrant vineyard produces three of each fragment daily instead of just one. Once you have 100 fragments of Granny's Apple Tree, you can use it from inventory to place a tree in your city, next to a road. Each Granny Aurora's Apple Tree produces 3 fragments daily of the Cider Garden, but again, only if motivated. You need 100 fragments to create a Cider Garden. The 2x2 Cider Garden is great for combat boosts, 4 forge points, and either 5 light units of your era or one from the next era (50% chance), but again only if motivated. It does not require road access.

Wow, people are still playing? I had started on one of the newer servers and it died so hard it was hard to field even one guild. Then another new server started and that died even faster due to people quitting when they saw others spending/using large diamond reserves. I quit awhile ago due to dead servers as they kept making the game worse with every single update over an entire year of bad updates that made the game progressively worse to play where people who had played since launch even quit due to how bad the updates were.
