I've been binging on youtube clips of Van's live shows, over the past few months. All are excellent, but this one has just shot to the top of my list. Perfect in every aspect. Van in killer mood. Brian is sublime, complementing a beautiful song. And that SAX player !!! He is something else.
Isn’t Vans music so Masterfully made? This guy is truly gifted from above…. I love u Van for making me hapi inside after the death of my husband recently…..I wish I could meet you and just pick your brain about how what when why in all your various songs.

Brilliant. Have always loved Van. Heartbreaking that he has turned out to be such a jackass these last couple of years. He never indicated the slightest interest in politics or social causes until the music venues were shut down and his pocket was affected.
Heartbreaking? I have even more respect for him today, for his willingness to speak truth to power, and to look out for all the struggling musicians who were sidelined by the obviously failed "guideline" governments imposed.
