And please don't disrespect her it doesn't mean that if she dress like that she don't have any self respect. Now to some of them who commented bad as a girl all of us know how to dress ourself. We know how to dress where. It's our body, our wish, our dignity and our rights to wear whatever we want. In Malaysia, we girls have this freedom to wear as our wish. So please, I didn't say it's wrong to comment about her outfit but before that think of a polite way to register it. Thank you and sorry if anything were rude or if I was wrong. 😊😇

@@lucindaelodielaboule4417 Because it appeared unique and unlike any other Indian name I've come across even in diaspora, that's why. Generally you can identify whether a tamil is from India or Sri Lanka or Malaysia & Singapore or South Africa based on their names. There would always be some pointers in their name that would help you identify their country. I know tamils in south africa don't know tamil as well but many of them still have tamil sounding names like moonsamy, lachman, ramsamy, etc., followed occasionally by their modified caste surnames like naidoo, pillay, etc. Similarly Malaysian tamils like the one in the video have their own variations (although they're very similar to India). But yours looked completely different and hence my question. Is it Creole or French?
@@arjundiwakar Actually my surname is not tamil as my mother is tamil and dad is christian so my surname is not tamil. But my mothers maiden surname in first name is tamil "Naiken Magaluchmee"
I’m a Malaysian Chinese and I’m searching up for this because all my Indian friends around me speak Tamil and I can’t understand anything .So I’m here now
Okay - I am a white guy - I am planning to surprise my Sri Lankan Neighbor with some of these - I think I can speak basic Tamil now - at least these phrases - can’t wait to try some of these . The expression on his face is going to be priceless. Wait until I start counting in Tamil - my neighbor is not so good at english so we are always making signs to communicate . I think one day I am going to quite good at Tamil.
I'm annoyed that so many people had to comment about her dress. It's her freaking body and has got nothing to do with you...mind your own business. Justifying your narrow-mindedness by talking about Tamil culture and dignity? That's just lame. If you want to preserve Tamil dignity then become a better human being who could contribute to the society. Don't just spend your time looking at female bodies and getting aroused AND THEN blaming women for your lust. As for the girls condemning her, please get a life. She is a confident, outspoken young women and you should not be pulling her down like this.
Gosh...don't forget where ur motherland..please wake up... If she is not wearing that no one would watch nor me cuz it was an ultimate factor of attraction..it's k... business ethics so called... otherwise she would have tried so many designs other than this off shoulder design... U can wear I can wear like this but when comes to multy racial like Malaysia we have to respect their morality also forget about our culture because we are vanishing all our practices and will adapt other cultures do the rojak..it's k and once in a year we will act the tradition...not narrow minded even Barack Obama knew how to dress up even though she is living in freedom America...

I've been arranging some Tamil pop songs for a friend's wedding party and after getting familiar with the lyrics I started becoming a bit more curious about how the language works, so I came here... and I just realised that Tamil and Armenian (my mother tongue) both have similar words for health - "aarokiyam" and "aroghjutyun"! I'm also now finding out that it's also used in Telugu (aarogyam) and Gujarati (aarogya). Even though Tamil and Telugu are Dravidian languages, and Armenian and Gujarati are Indo-Iranian languages, I'm guessing this word might be an example of when the same word becomes a part of different languages through cultural interaction over time, and that's how it gets into languages from different families. Learned something new today!
even in hindi its the same as all these rooted from sanskrit...in India the central government launched app for covid tracking called aarogya setu app (setu = bridge)

Hello Nandini please keep teaching us tamil. I am a tamil ponnu from mauritius but don't know how to speak in tamil,my ancestors were from Tamil Nadu. I liked the way you explain each words meaning in tamil and how to say it properly. Keep on doing the good work god will bless you dear. Keep doing mores videos like this please
Is your name a Mauritian name?
Yes its a mauritian name. But y are u asking?
@@lucindaelodielaboule4417 Oh okay, Mahalakshmi is definitely a common Indian name.

What's wrong if she dresses decently??
Indian attire is best .
Nothing sissy she want to make her page more famous that’s why she is exposing like this , but people will like only content not this type of shits

To think these words are part of one of the oldest languages in the world which is still spoken, awe inspiring!
I remember watching this video as a European, before coming to Chennai for a year and I was so desperate I didn't even understand her english. Well after a year in Tamil Nadu I understand both the english and most of the Tamil. Really beautiful language and a land and of course the people! Can't wait to go back.
Hi
this video is really helpful..... tq nandini aka nandhini aka nanthini aka nalini for gave us such wonderful lesson......now i can apply all this lesson in my daily basis......
This is very common cos both european and indin language have sanskrit influence.
