I fell in love with Laddu since my Indian friend first introduced it to me, I can eat 4 -5 of those Laddu in one serving. Diabetes? nahh who cares haha.. also, the peneram and muruku as well. It's a blessing to have different culture, different tradition blend together in this land.

as a Malay Muslim....i wld like to advise my Malay Muslim brethren......PLEASE DO NOT USE D WORD KELING....Its not a race but a slur and n insult.... Indians consist of Tamilan, Malayalee, Telugu....and many others.... kalau tak tahu no prblm.....sebut India....lelaki INDIA, wanita INDIA, murid INDIA....BUKAN (KELING).....
Super cool info for us all, even we most Indians might not be aware of its origin...thanks Nandini for this awesome video. Sorry just to highlight a small technical error (at 7:35, the notepad graphics should be 'Ommapoodi' but it appears as Mysore Pak), sorry, not a biggie but incase 'some' gets really confused ;) Happy Diwali to all!
I don't know, but everyday when arrived at my workplace, I'll go to backdoor cafeteria and buy Vadai, masala vadai and uppuma... 😍😍 Whenever I have chance for breakfast I'll buy paneer puuri at cafeteria... Love it so much legit
Well nandhini, claiming ownership of certain food may not be important. But history cannot be erased or forgotten. It is good to know the origin. Same like learning sejarah at our schools. We learned about parameswara, hang tuah and so one. We still keep what we learned. History never dies. History is knowledge...
Baru borong all these sweets dekat pekan Rawang few days ago. Indian sweets are so addictive especially those palkova and ladoo. Also, I can eat like 2 whole jalebi in one seating 😂
Achu muruku aka kuih ros also known as 'kuih loyang' at certain region in Malaysia especially Kedah. I love the sweet version of it. Deepavali Vadtekel
My Mom loves to make halva. It requires a lot of mixing, quite like dodol, and the taste is just beautiful ❤️ Also gang coconut candy and palkova. Used to love gulab jamun, I guess I switched my 'bias'🤣 Nice video, btw. Happy Deepavali!
Wow..there's like a ton of murukku's variation..and the way Miss Nandini explained things just superb..love it..my favourite sweets is obviously Laddu..yummy!
Today I learned I've been pronouncing Laddu wrongly. (All this time I've been calling Laddu as ladoo haha). Also today I learned my name means a lot in Tamil. Happy Deepavali to everyone celebrating!
Acchu muruku tu nenek aku pggl kuih goyang sbb bile masuk dalam minyak kene goyang2 acuan bagi doh tu tanggal.. My fav 😋❤️ Btw, nei urunde tu bukan south Indian ke?
I have been browsing about Athirasam and found that the there is a Japanese sweet called Karinto using almost same ingredients should try making Athirasam one of these days!!
some of these indian treats looks so colourful that it reminds me of lush's soaps and bath bombs! or vice versa! btw, my all time favourite deepavali treats is rasgulai. heart!
Happy Deepavali to Nandini and to all who are celebrate Deepavali. May have a great amd wonderful celebration. Personally i love Coconut Candy so mucccchhhhhhh and Kuih Ros too. Yummeehhh ❤
Nandini akka, you look stunning! Motichoor Laddoo and Murukku are my favourite Indian sweets because they have low sugary quotient. 😋 Ps: Payasam enge di? 😆
My grandma addicted to maruku (diff vr. from ori but still) so yeah you cannot steal her snack... As for me, I was so curious about ladu and ask my friends to buy it. Omggddd taste so good... I wish I can find that easily in here. As for kuih Ros, such a childhood snack to enjoy... If I can have it right now, it'll just dissapear.
Banyak lagi makanan kat Malaysia yang mostly malay people tak explore 🤧...i eager to try all chinese and indian cuisine wehh🥲 but donnow which place is best and halal one. Tak sabar nak balik kampus kat kl, so that i can tour with my friends..no need to go oversea, just explore your own country
really really nice video. i got a lot of input. it's always fun to be nandini's audience. one question though, is gulab jamun not a common deepavali sweets?
