Hi friends! Enjoy our second version of the beautiful "Ma'oz Tzur" arr. Drew Fennell. Make sure to show love and support by liking, sharing and commenting. Sheet music and piano backing tracks are available for download at www.matonizz.com/product/rock-of-ages/ Again, Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating and wish everyone a great weekend!
Fabulous! My only regret is that the piece wasn't posted here (or perhaps I didn't see it?) until a few days ago, the middle of Hanukkah. As a retiree "enthusiastic" the music is well within my ability to play, but I'd need a few weeks to get it solid enough to play for others. I plan on downloading and adding it for next Hanukkah. Thanks to the composer, Senor Matinizz and the pianist for an excellent piece.
Enjoyed the performance immensely and the balance between the piano and Euphonium has much improved with the piano becoming softer and louder following what is asked for to either be a co-equal or to recede into the back ground. So this was a big improvement over some previous transmissions. Again I though it was great. Because your instrument is so revealing in transition between notes while slurring I might wish that your tonguing was bit more accented would be my only criticism. I am a big fan of rotary valves during slurring between notes but here again the tonguing would need to be a bit more accented. This love of rotary valves is why I would like you to use a Baryton some time for a solo so we could hear the difference. I have never heard a solo featuring a baryton with rotary valves.
Very well done Matonizz! And amazing job to the Pianist! I don't give them enough credit! Beautiful♥️
Thank you very much Dominic! Much appreciated!
