I'm glad that at least the EBU got a better idea of Voyager's musical quality than the jury and the audience. I still can't understand how it happened that musicians of this caliber are not appreciated as they deserve. I suggest asking Loreen for the next mix like this.
Now when I watch something to do with Eurovision and it starts with this renditon of the countdown, I am reassured that when it comes to the future of this contest - everything's gonna be alright.
It was amazing seeing you guys having so much fun and living out a long fought-for dream at the 2023 contest, and I'm so happy that the EBU have worked with you to make your music "part of the furniture" for thier youtube offerings. Theres something a little special about countdowns in broadcasting (the BBC news one has cult status), and you did a great job crafting one around such an iconic interlude!
I don't care how modern things are and can get but the original starburst E*U*R*O*V*I*S*I*O*N logo with the logo of the TV station in the middle is still by far the best.
I agree, and imagine the numerous variations that a computer could render using the original design - I mean look how great the one in the video looks with a slight modification giving it a gentle rotation.
Love the choice of 120 bpm! I also totallt vibe with the synth arps/lines.. and guitars.. and drums... perfection! It would be great even without the ebu theme bits. Thank you!
