They're really good! I only found out about them from watching Eurovision as I visit mum for mother's Day and she was watching it.

Eurovision to me isn't about who wins, it's about discovering new artists and acts out of the ordinary. You guys were having so much damn fun on stage and your music is fire. Simone's solo was absolutely riveting! So glad I tuned in to find out about you guys. Keep rocking.
I do watch eurovision pretty much because of a small tradition, but the main point is to discover new songs, just as you said.
Exactly this, every year produces a few new memorable gems. Voyager was this year's gem for me.

BILLION POINTS FROM SERBIA !!!! Wooow guys, i could never have, in my wildest dreams, imagined, that one day i will look at the prog metal band on Eurovision !!!!! Absolutely incredible !!! Everything is there, the song starting like a pop song but ending in absolute madness !!! the sound is what i always wanted to hear, guitar/keytar solos are incredible, the drummer is a beast... the main vocal leads us on that incredible journey with his , at moments emotional, but also thunder - like strong voice , which starts slowly but then it is startis to build up, and the bass player dropped the bomb with his singing at the end, it was like he announced the victory! Guys you need to know that quality doesn't win always on Eurovision, but you will make history just by appearing there as prog metal band! Proud on all of you, there is a hope for Eurovision! GO AUSTRALIAAAA !!!!!!!!

@@nickpatten5263 Because music like this doesn't get promoted like generic pop is. At least not in the same capacity. I hope many people learned a valuable lesson. There's a lot of really cool music just below that surface of bland, samey music, you just have to dig a little to find it, but it's so worth it.
First bucket list entry is to conquer eurovision, second bucket list entry is to play at the afl grand final. Third entry is to play a show in my backyard but will work out details on that later :P

Szczerze, to nigdy chyba nie czułem takich konkursowych emocji i było zupełnie tak jakby to oni reprezentowali mój kraj i cały mój gust muzyczny :) Wygrali już dostając się do Eurowizji, ale być pierwszym spośród wszystkich w półfinale i być w końcowym top 10! Mega szacun, a nawet duma! Czeka na koncert u nas i pozdrawiam wszystkich fanów! :)

As someone who aspires to avoid commercialism in music and listens to the most extreme and challenging sorts of music with pride, I have to say that this song is probably the best thing to come out of Australia's involvement in Eurovision and is undeniably the best thing I have heard that is associated with the competition. I hope it trounces the opposition and wins hands down.

I'm a bit of a Eurovision tragic. I've got some old favourites but I think you're right. Maybe my favourites are now sentimental favourites (eg Lordi) . Having watched the semi-finals for this year, nothing comes close. They've blown it out of the park.
This music isn't challenging to listen to, to me. It's catchy and has that slight metal edge. Just enough for people to appreciate it without overwhelming them. I'm guessing their participation in that show helped give Voyager - maybe even metal in general a popularity boost.
