I don't think this is as loud as many claim. A loud fragrance would be one that would at least choke out the wearer. I go with at least 6 sprays and it is pleasant throughout the whole drydown for hours on end. Neither do I see a single note in the composition that may be perveived as a nuisance. I agree that it is long lasting though but that's about it when attributing the "beast mode" term.
Congrats on getting it. That was a long wait! I got it around a month ago. Took me a year to get it. I was just doing a daily check of my favorite discounter. I set up for email notifications with them and through another guy who sends out notifications but didn't get any notifications. Just being vigilant worked out. It's fantastic! Arguably the best designer fragrance there is. IMO, better than the Intense version. It doesn't surprise me that the Intense is voted so high, and higher than the Parfum, for a few reasons. For one, the Parfum isn't sold in the States and, like it or not, it's a huge market. The Intense version is sold in the states, so more people trying it who are giving feedback. Secondly, it's a deeper, richer fragrance, and even though the Intense isn't light, it is lighter than the Parfum.
We're both on the same page on the Parfum. I agree, it's the highest quality designer I have tried. It's magic. I fluked out when it got it but I have gotten notified for other fragrances and it's neat that they do that for us. I have NO IDEA why it's not available in the US. I'm Canadian, so anything that doesn't come to the US doesn't come to Canada either. Younger North Americans are more diverse and are wearing fragrances more so Dior and especially YSL needs to take the US market more seriously.
You DO NOT want to spray this BEAST more than 3X.. It's BEASTMODE! Doesn't smell like the Intense. I got it from Frangencebuy a couple of months ago. Paid around $150 USD.. When it comes in. You have to jump on it. It won't last long. I kind of feel like it's discontinued.
Damn I just saw this review and had I'd known you'd been on the hunt I've had 3 bottles of Dior homme parfum and I've had them for a bit years in fact and got em cheap 2018ish i believe on wear it very sparingly but I'd of sold ya one...
When it comes to Dior Homme I'm enjoying the Original because there's a woody chocolate note I like. I have the Parfum the Intense and Sport which I'm going to test in cooler weather. At the moment London is 🔥
Yes, I have heard London's weather has gone tropical lately, ha ha. I'm a big fan of the Homme line but the original Dior Homme (with the iris) hasn't been available in Canada for some time. It's No. 1 on my fragrance want list.
I got it couple of days ago in Warsaw airport for 110 eur. I also checked in Sephora on Champs Elysées and they didn't have it, however, I didn't check the Dior store since I thought 110 eur was OK price considering in the original website was close to 140 eur. Something I noticed is that it smells awful from the sprayer but great from the skin.
That's interesting. I have never tried it straight from the sprayer but there are a ton of fragrances that vary from sparyer to skin. Europeans are so lucky to have it so readily available. I wanted it for so long
as an owner of 2020 version 100 ml and 2019 batch 75 ml i'd have to say older batches like 2014-2017 from 75 bottles performs better and even deeper smelling than this like there is more oud in it and performance wise also better not as nuclear as before it is watered down
I have both versions and it is the same exact parfum! No reformulation. 2020 is fresh when you spray because of new batch. But same performance, same everything.
Yes sir, very hard to find here in pakistan, 2020 100ml version of this fragrance is little bit easy to find here but I'm trying to find 75ml old version like crazy but still I'm failed to grab this desighner masterpiece bcs I love leather note in perfumery bro, by the way your bottle is 100ml version of perfum, let me know, can i go with 100ml if I'm not able to find vintage 75ml version of my dreamy dhp?

Yeah. I bought mine at fragrancenet- both places had it and yes, it's ridiculously strong.

It's sold in Europe. They can buy it on Dior websites. We can't buy it on their site and have it shipped to us....I emailed Dior and asked.

Yeah, I don't think there is a huge difference but they are slightly different. I'd say go for it.
