I'm making my first doll wig and am grateful to have stumbled across this video. I want to have a part instead of that circle thing most seem to do and you've shown me how to do that part. Thanks a bunch!
only difference is, the head is alot smaller. the body isnt poseable, and it just looks plain. like it doesnt give it the same feel monster high dolls do. if you want to do this i say go for it
Ypu can try to do so by buying a pre-owned nude MH doll on Ebay, or by buying an MH doll with damaged hair and nude body so you can exercise. Just a little tip to make you save a lot of money!
Bluu Bandette part it accordingly with the hairstyle. So like make sections. So if you want bangs, make that a section. A pigtail, a section. Like that :)
OMG! I love all your tutorials in fact, today I made my own doll wig using your technique thank you so much for sharing this to everyone. I love it so much.😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your tutorial was extremely helpful and easy to follow! I have just finished recreating one of my old dolls and this video really helped. Thanks for posting
going to try this! The first method I saw was to actually cut a slit in the wig, and pull the hair up through the slit and have it lay flat...so trying that first ;3
Hi, great tutorials, congratulations ... where did you buy this max bond glue? Do you have a similar brand? I did not find it to buy on ebay. Where do you buy acetone mamonde? Thank you.
Hi! I'd like to say first that you are super-duper talented at doll-making, it's ridiculous. I've just started to pick up the hobby, and have tried making wefts with yarn. Is it normal to lose a lot of the yarn when you're coming it out? If so, how do you make such long wefts, with super-long strands? Thanks for the help!
how would you wash/care for such a wig? could you also infuse the yarn with a perfume to make it smell pretty? is it possible together it wet? sorry for the bombardment of questions. I love your videos so much, I can't wait to start making my own! do you sell your wigs? 😍
I love this so much, but as a full-time job & Farmer... well, I just don't have time to make those (SO VERY PRETTY) yarn wefts. D: I am so impressed, though! You have done an amazing job!
Thank you for this video! I made a wig for my doll and it came out really great. It's a little too voluminous though--I think I used too many wefts. Could a wig made with this method stand up to boil washing, to make the hair lie flatter?
Alice Thornburgh I dunno about boil washing, but I had a similar problem with a Disney Store Tiana--her hair still stood up straight when I took it out of the topknot and I didn't Tate boil wash and ruin her curls. Instead, I forced it down around her neck and held it down with a rubber band, after about a week it behaved easily.
This is amazing! I'm so happy I found your channel, I have been looking for yarn doll hair tutorials for so long and these are beautiful! Did you add the eyelashes on yourself? If so would you be willing to do a tutorial for them?
Before I go trying this and literally drive myself insane I'll ask first do you think it would be possible to do this on a larger scale for persons wig?
Taylor Cameron no you cannot at least not using yarn, I know a year late, maybe you found that out already but for other people with the same question, you can only brush yarn to a certain length cause passing that length if you keep brushing it will break too short even if you are careful, so yes you could use the technique of wig making if you use hair lire natural hair or Saran maybe nylon, or other kind of fake hair, but you have to sew it in to a wig cap, so it’s similar but not the same.
i forget what video it is off the top of my head, but I once saw a dollmaker make extra long yarn wefts so maybe that would work? though i have seen human sized wig made with just plain yarn, look up 'The Magic Yarn Project' on youtube :3
Very neatly done. Thank you for the video. I have watched so many doll wig making tutorials, but, I have never understood if I should glue the head cap mould onto the head or not? Please, please can someone advise me. Thank you so much.
It depends on what you want. Some people like changing wigs on their dolls so they don't glue them wig cap down. If you want it to be permanent, you'd glue it. It really depends on personal preference.
Might be a stupid question, but what kind of cloth is that :0 do you take the glue off the cloth after, as a cap, or use the glue/cloth cap as its whole?
Hi! I have a question... I want to do pigtails, but I also want to do a parted front as you have in this video. How would I go about making such a wig?
I wonder if you had the time and the yarn if you were to make a full wig for a person if it would look really fake or maybe it would look amazing🤔 this could save me a lot of money on buying wigs
Thank you! I am redoing an old dolls hair I found at a thrift store, and there was hardly any holes in the head Also I repaint baby alive dolls this technique should be much better than hot glue!
Thank you so much for this Tutorial! It is such an easy option to customize Dolls hair. I wonder if it is possible to Curl it to... If it's possible it would be nice if you could make a Tutorial.
How long are you supposed to wait between gluing of the part-lline and flipping it? Glue must get on the hair during the weft gluing stage - how do you get it off?
I'm curious to know what yarn you used and what was the sticky strip running along the width of the weft. Is it a certain brand that you buy like that ?? Otherwise..... Great job
Debbie Day I’m pretty sure those were glue wefts and they were made by hand. To stick them to the dolls head they used glue. The sticky strip is not sticky it’s just used to keep the yarn together as a weft. Hope I could help!
Thank you so much! Another amazing wig tutorial. Also... she's the most BEAUTIFUL OPERETTA I'VE EVER SEEN!
Dollightful I love your channel, so inspiring.
Dollightful have you a video from this repaint ? I can't find this. This is so amazing. I really love this. wow😍😍😍😍
I love you so much
Dollightful yas
Dollightful omg hi and true
I don't know why but I find doll wig making tutorials very satisfying
Ghost Kitty yess that’s the only reason I watch them lol
Agreed
Me too!
Because they are. Don’t try to fight it. The satisfaction is inevitable. ❤ 😂
I just realized the yarn wefts look like tiny hair extensions. Aww their so cute!!
LOL they are! :))
+Mozekyto their so small and adorable! Do you buy them or make them?
+Vampire Mayhem Check out her channel the first video tells you an easy way to make them
Vampire Mayhem she makes them! go to her first video
I'm making my first doll wig and am grateful to have stumbled across this video. I want to have a part instead of that circle thing most seem to do and you've shown me how to do that part. Thanks a bunch!
It's so prettyyyy!! I want to buy a monster high doll just to do something like this!! X3
me too !
if you have barbie dolls you could do it with them im doing it with one of my barbies the only difference is the heads are smaller
only difference is, the head is alot smaller. the body isnt poseable, and it just looks plain. like it doesnt give it the same feel monster high dolls do. if you want to do this i say go for it

When you flipped over the second middle weft.... it was like, MIND BLOWN!!! This is so cool, I need to try this 😄
One of the nicer results among the videos I've watched! Superb!
I love this! Do you let the glue dry completely before adding new wefts, or before flipping and clipping the part over? Thanks!
Next would you try making wigs with braids and pigtails?
Bluu Bandette I think to make braids you can make this wig and just braid it, I am NOT sure though
Bluu Bandette part it accordingly with the hairstyle. So like make sections. So if you want bangs, make that a section. A pigtail, a section. Like that :)
This is so so so so pretty! Your videos are making me so excited to make my first custom! Love your videos, keep up the beautiful work! ♡
OMG thank you so much for this tutorial! I have this hairless doll lying in closet for years, and thanks to you I finally know what to do
not sure why but this is very satisfying to watch. I saw this 4 times now
I can't believe that you can make such realistic-looking doll wigs with such cheap supplies! :D this was SUPER helpful!!!
You are so kind to show how its dine properly! Its just beautiful too
I really really love the way these wefts don't even look like yarn.. they're so pretty
OMG! I love all your tutorials in fact, today I made my own doll wig using your technique thank you so much for sharing this to everyone. I love it so much.😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yaaay you found me!! Haha! You're welcome! 😁❤️
I'm so happy I found your channel! I'm just getting into doll customization and I've been wanting to try wig making ;D
This video was really helpful. I made a doll out of polymer clay and used this method for the hair.
Oooh what an interesting project! And yay glad I helped! :D
Your tutorial was extremely helpful and easy to follow! I have just finished recreating one of my old dolls and this video really helped. Thanks for posting
Wow that is a gorgeous doll! The face up is so beautiful and I love the rich color of the wig! Amazing!
What a beautiful doll, and with the poses at the end, so sweet! The wig turned out perfectly and it can even be brushed. :) I am inspired!
going to try this!
The first method I saw was to actually cut a slit in the wig, and pull the hair up through the slit and have it lay flat...so trying that first ;3
That’s the method I tried last night and it was pretty hard. Of course I don’t have the best doll hair.
Que boneca linda é essaaa!! Que maquiagem maravilhosaaa.. e esse cabelo!! Semsacioooonaaaalll!! Parabéns!!!
this and the other videos were so helpful i want you to know that you are very talented
This doll is so pretty - those lashes 😍 gorgeous wig!
Hi, great tutorials, congratulations ... where did you buy this max bond glue? Do you have a similar brand? I did not find it to buy on ebay. Where do you buy acetone mamonde? Thank you.
You can get both at Walmart or Home Depot

I love yours and dollightfuls wig tutorials! I'm planing on making some for my old monster highs!
Hi, can I glue the wefts directly onto the dolls head? or do you strongly recommend that I just make a wig? Thanks!
I wish mine came out as lovely as this Lol! You are the one that everyone says is the Master wigmaker aren't you? I can see why Lol! It's beautiful!
I am very grateful to have found your channel , I love your videos ! you are awesome . kisses from Brazil
Can you put the doll wig hair up or like do any style on it or no?

@@CashCatMoney Thank you so much for responding...Now I know what to do.
Why I didn't find your channel earlier?! Your tutorial is awesome!
Thanks you for making this video..where do you purchase the wefts?
So cute :) I was wondering can you boil wash it it use a hair dryer?
omggg who does her lashessss😫😍😍😫
Do I wait for the glue to dry before putting on another layer? Also, is Elmer’s glue all okay for the layers of glue?
can you boil wash the wig or would that mess the wig up since it's glued?
Does it have to be acrylic yarn or can it just be regular yarn?🤔
Might be a stupid question, but what kind of cloth is that :0 do you take the glue off the cloth after, as a cap, or use the glue/cloth cap as its whole?

She's so pretty.
I love it! And if someone wants to make a wig for themselves they can watch how you lay the tracks. Can you do a side part
Wonderful doll and wig
thank you for inspiration! your tutorials are awesome!
Thank you for showing us I will have to try this
is it possible to put them up in a ponytail with these types of wigs aswell?
Very very good. You made an awesome work. I wanted it. Thank you.
I wonder if you had the time and the yarn if you were to make a full wig for a person if it would look really fake or maybe it would look amazing🤔 this could save me a lot of money on buying wigs
Do you think this method would work with other doll hair matterials..?
such a pretty wig! can you also boil wash to keep the hair in place or would that not work on yarn? thankyou :)
Yarn is pretty easy to style, it stays in place whitout the need of boiling or stuff
ok thankyou :)
also, depending on the glue you used to make and glue down the wefts you can't put water on the wig
hgv
What?
You're amazing
Thank you! :")

Hi, how do you make the wefts? or where do you buy them, and how should I search for them if I need to buy them. Please let me know
Hi !
Can i use a compress as a cap?
Thanks a lot, and beautiful videos! Love your job
Would these kinds of wigs work for cosplay or mascot heads?
Thank you for making this! I was looking for a good place to start for my first bjd wig and it's a great reference.
Magnificent! Sending love from PH
Why do you need the fabric cap? Can you just glue the wefts directly to the doll head?
What did you use to make the wig? and is it brushable?
do i have to use yarn wafts or can i use alpaca hair?
Loved the video! Could you make a video about a wig with pigtails of ponytails?
Hello Mozekyto (i live in France), do you thng it can function with normal glue in tube for exemple ?
great video, thank you for posting this.
So simple very helpful thankyou
