Such a beautiful Bible!! Thomas Nelson has been making some gorgeous, fantastic quality Bibles! I have the WM verse by verse in black goatskin. It’s my favorite for Bible study. I also have the double column premier in black goatskin. My sweet kitty grabbed it to catch her fall and left a gash in the cover. Only I notice it. I love the comfort print. It’s so easy on my eyes for reading longer periods of time. I keep adding to my collection of Bibles. I know you understand that! I love reading Gods word. My husband says if I’m going to collect something, Bibles are the best choice! How is your son doing? I’m keeping him in my prayers.
The brown bibles comes with those color ribbons. I have a beautiful TN Classic Reference Bible NKJV and if they would print the NLT, NASB 95, and the Amplified Bible, I would sell all of my Schuyler and Allen's! I love TN that much! I will not purchase a Schuyler nor Allen NKJV because I love TN that much ❤️❤️❤️
Hello 👋🏽.. thanks for this amazing review. I have a question how do you stay encouraged when you go through a financial struggle, how to keep your faith stronger while going through so hard time? Any good guidance? I’m struggling and I need a way to stay strong and believe that my father will come through 🙏🏽
I brought the NKJV Single Column in the Goatskin Brown and I swear amazon sold me a fake, it looks the same inside and the paper is correct but the cover seems like a dud (a fake). Its not supple or thick like everyone else's. It's thin, flat, stiff & shiney like pigskin. The cover feels plasticy. Theres little to no grain and the paint is shiney and rubbery. Even the paint on the cover is coming off as soon as I opened the box and it smells like chemicals and not leather. Even the pain is the wrong colour brown. I gently rub my finger nail on paint and it cracks and comes off so easily i can literally see the leather underneath. At this point I'm questioning if its even reaal leather. Also the price on the box says $209.99 when the price on everyone elses says $189.99. I have a NKJV end of verse premium Goatskin brown by Thomas Nelson and it is nothing like this trash cover I've recieved on the single column one. Do you thi k i got sold a fake?

Do they make this Bible in a study Bible? I can't find one anywhere. I have this exact same Bible in a study Bible and I love it but the print is too small. I need at least a 10 point, preferably larger. I just wondered if they even make this EXACT same Bible in a study Bible???
Depending on the ribbon, if you are worried about it fraying, Mom uses a lighter on hers. The flame will melt the material the ribbon is made out if. Dont BURN the ribbon, you just want to lick it with the flame. The edges will melt. As long as you make a couple very quick passes, you won't destroy your ribbon. I tend to pinch the edge while its still warm to flatten it out. WORD OF CAUTION: USE A TEST STRIP OF RIBBON TO TRY THIS METHOD. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY with the way it looks, don't do it in your bible. TEST STRIP FIRST. None of my ribbons fray.

Is it generally seen as a good thing for a goat skin leather to be tough? I thought the goat skin was supposed to give the opposite effect honestly.

I've never seen this Bible in a study Bible. I would check the website for the Study Bible you want. I know they have them. But not this one
