- Well, the battle songs have a variation of themselves, if you kill an enemy and regarding your instrument of choice this tune will play. :)

I know the music is really good for this game but you don't really notice because you are too busy playing lol.
Friends were all playing physical dps characters and they _all_ had picked flute. Well my mage finally got to the levels where she could decimate the battle field, so fluty fluty fluty *mage turn/flashy AOE* and everything just drops to the cello. It was so overly dramatic and wonderful. 😂
Ah, this brings memories of when I first unlocked and cast Epidemic of Fire, which proceeded to delete half the enemies in a single turn...
Just use apotheosis and grasp of starved and skin graft, , repeat again, (except apotheosis), i devastated a pack of 5 tough mobs using that

Been doing this with Bansuri being fully convinced that it's better. I still think it is for some tracks, but this here is completely different than the rest. Really intense, more so than anything else the game has to offer. It's not only superior imo, but elevated to being one of the best tracks in the game.

Started playing this game a week or two ago. I’m in love and am barely in act 2. Granted the scaling is... interesting to deal with. More wipes due to wandering somewhere I shouldn’t have. However the music... the music after you fell an enemy and you hear YOUR instrument start playing, YOUR theme, and I can’t help but press on.
once you get a good grasp of the game i'd suggest a solo run, makes combat faster, but also harder

I just started playing the game with 3 of my friends and this was one of the coolest aspects of the game for me :D I'm using the cello in my group for my Elven Rogue!
Elven always gave me flute vibes, Fane however gave me Cello vibes.

@@jakegovson1813 only shit players do that. I literally never use that spell because it's basically cheese. Play on Story mode if you want the game to be that easy lol.
im sorry if i've survived honor mode to level 16 I think its only fair that i use OP combos, otherwise it doesn't feel very rewarding

When the battle mage that supports alexander keeps shouting ill get you for this and stays on her spot bugged until you literly killed everyone (except for mayby alexander as he is still alive after that somehow) and then suddenly 360 no scopes your character from behind a wall 700 m away to be teleported in mid of the battle to then end the battle until you engage her at the spot she was standing on (literly happened to me must have been a bug)

cellos fight songs versions of this game are the best ( and bansuri are the worst imo XD )
The cello versions are beautiful because imo they do the best job at changing the tone of the base song; when they start playing as my character takes down an important enemy...it really spices things up and gives and empowering feeling.
Well described. The change in music conveys a feeling like the tide is changing, like you're getting the upper hand. That just drives me to focus on the battle even more intensly.
Tambura is top, reconsider your taste. Only some of the cello themes are good, whereas 100% of the tambura themes are amazing.
No one said the tambura ones weren't good, though. I must agree with you that they're quite juicy; in fact, they remind me a bit of W3: Wild Hunt's soundtrack. There was something akin to a tambura in it, or perhaps it was actually a tambura, either on the main game's tracks, or in one of the expansions'.
I do not know, but I do know that the tambura is played as a folk instrument in Croatia, so it's entirely possible it ended up in a game based on Slavic folklore.

@@kakashi0909 The series is a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate, but it's not part of the Forgotten Realms or any other 'official' DnD Setting.
@@MelkromisteinWeeb well im really not too versed on dnd thing earlier than 3.5. my range is on 3.5 and 5th. Not sayin i skipped 4th out of the general hate for it(in fact i love its wacky power per day system) but because i havent played it for real unlike 3.5 and 5th(just a bi5 of 5th to be fair) so where does the divine divinity happen or is it even a wizard of the coast world?

I hope I get to hear this song often cuz Ive been playing for a couple days and and I gotta say the battle music really sucks. It's lacking actual music. It's just drums and it's slow.
It's probably down to your instrument choice at the start.
