at the end there it looked like Kirstie was in a balcony with another group. That's really cute cause that meant a group asked her to stand with them so she wouldn't be by herself
Yes, that's Kirstie, but I think it was actually the producers, or whoever. To keep the boxes clear and keep them from having just one or two or three people in 3 of the boxes and one blank one, they emptied out the first 4 boxes and then put the girls of Urban Method, The Collective and Kirstie from PTX in there so that it made more visual sense. Because Delilah, the Deltones and Afro Blue all had enough females left to fill out their boxes.
+Meg Livingston I think Keith from Vocal Point did a pretty good job of it (2:14), but maybe I'm biased because he and the rest of the group are the reason I watched the show in the first place. ^ w ^;
pay no attention to the pentaholic for a second, but where's mitch in all of this? i could find avi and kevin pretty easily since they're wearing bright pink, but mitch got lost in the crowd.
Yep he is at 3:19 he just barely peeking out from the right edge of the screen. Its hard to find him since he only had a bright pink tie to see who he was and also had the black jacket mostly zipped up so its hard to tell unlike Avi who has more pink showing than Mitch lol
So apparently when the stage is "the man cave", they don't even show Mitch. I love this song...but Scott was the only one that actually sounded good on it. And I usually love Michael.
One thing I didn't like was that the singing was so overpowered it was hard to pickout the individual beats of people like Kevin and Avi. Like there were too many beats, and not enough to distinguish them since most of the time was obviously spent on coordinating all the singers.
As far as the battle goes, the guys totally won! That being said, I felt like some of them were seriously over-singing the leads. The dude from Urban Method should've been left out all together, and I love Michael, but he needed to tone it down a bit. The best lead for me was Scott. The Vocal Point kid was good too. Overall, it could've been better, but it wasn't too bad (for a bunch of kids born in the 80s)
I feel like with the exception of Scott and the guy from Urban Method, this song was too low for the soloists. Michael sounded comfortable at the end, since it's a higher part there, but I think they should have chosen different solists for the most part. The ensemble sounded good, though.
Even though I have a burning hatred for Urban Method, I think Troy is a total boss. His voice is perfect for Broadway kinds of shows and it's really really unique.

"There's no girls to distract us" well there's plenty of guys to distract Mitch! 😂
Lmao
I mean Vocal Point is a male only group, aren't the majority of their rehearsals female free anyway?
Kevin: Pure raw manly
me: um you have Scott and Mitch on your team ....... "manly" is not what I would use
IMO, Brendan from DA is the only one who really gets that Bruce vibe across, though both Michael and Scott have flashes of it. Still fun to watch.
+Meg Livingston I think Keith from Vocal Point did a pretty good job of it (2:14), but maybe I'm biased because he and the rest of the group are the reason I watched the show in the first place. ^ w ^;
3:28 i just died wtf scott and that other guy
😂😂😂😂😂😂 IM DECEASED
I never understood what was happening there 😂😂😂😂
pay no attention to the pentaholic for a second, but where's mitch in all of this? i could find avi and kevin pretty easily since they're wearing bright pink, but mitch got lost in the crowd.
3rd row from the bottom, on the far right. the super enthusiastic one x)
still cant find mitch
Right? I was wondering where he was.
Anushri K.. uh at 3:19 if you pause at the right time i think Mitch is at the far right.
Yep he is at 3:19 he just barely peeking out from the right edge of the screen. Its hard to find him since he only had a bright pink tie to see who he was and also had the black jacket mostly zipped up so its hard to tell unlike Avi who has more pink showing than Mitch lol
stop at 3.19 on the spot and you can see mitch at the right side of the screen lol for everyone who was scared that mitch was abandoned 😂😂
3:19 Mitch
2:12 avi
2:32 Kevin
Great show! I am looking for my Mitch, where is he? TT^TT
So apparently when the stage is "the man cave", they don't even show Mitch. I love this song...but Scott was the only one that actually sounded good on it. And I usually love Michael.
Saw all the guy members of PTX except Mitch. Where was he lol
Seriously
True! And that’s strange because normally Avi is nowhere to be seen! 😳
Am I the only one who wants to see a duet with Michael and Scott??
When Scott runs his hand through his hair, my God! :D
Like a Broadway hit musical bursting into my living room! Excellent!
my favorite sing off performance ever
black mohawk guy has a sick voice
Scott really was in a league of his own compared to most of the other groups' "lead" singers, and this performance emphasizes it.
The ending was the best part... that was made me like this !!!
Keith Evans is a BEAST!!! He came and worked with our school musical, and he is freaking AWESOME!!!
I don't know why but I think Mitch should have been with the girls.
+kayleigh page Because he's fabulous.
+LJ B true
Angel voice...
he probably was, cuz I can't find him 😂
Meghan Mulkey to the right, 2nd or 3rd row, but he’s constantly head banging so you can’t really see him
Im like, "was Mitch joined the girls team?"
I love how all the guys started grooving on stage when Delilah started up. Mad respect.
Now is where is Mitch ?
3:19 Oh we found Mitch
Now THAT is testosterone-fueled!!! We know why Mitch disappeared as he has none but what the heck. I really loved that!
Is it sad that I love how much the guys rock out to Delilah's 10 second Grenade performance at the end? :P
That opening tho
5:36 Delilah's Grenade ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I can't find Mitch
also, LOVED Delilah's Grenade bit at the end! GAHHH I LOVE DELILAH!
A million views? Where...
Scott stop flinging yourself across the stage
ooh, their harmonies are just amaaazing ! (:
The 3 lead singers are good but ⭐SCOTTS VOICE!!!!...Scott is a legend!!...I LOVE HIM SO MUUUUUUCH!!!!⭐
@TheQudsi123 He's on the side behind the Aires lead singer. Like 4 rows up.
Though tbh its still easy to hear Avi =P
One thing I didn't like was that the singing was so overpowered it was hard to pickout the individual beats of people like Kevin and Avi. Like there were too many beats, and not enough to distinguish them since most of the time was obviously spent on coordinating all the singers.
Scott honey calm down. No stop. Sweetie, you're scaring the children. Oh my god. That's why Pentatonix doesn't dance like this.
XDDDD
Where is he, I still can't find him?
@wildgrasse He enters with the group on the stairs on the right :) You can only glimpse him though.
As far as the battle goes, the guys totally won! That being said, I felt like some of them were seriously over-singing the leads. Who cares? They were just having a blast! (hello from the future BTW)
3:19
I feel like with the exception of Scott and the guy from Urban Method, this song was too low for the soloists. Michael sounded comfortable at the end, since it's a higher part there, but I think they should have chosen different solists for the most part. The ensemble sounded good, though.
Personally, I think they needed the girls to hold them back slightly... That said, that was awesome. :D
God Kevin. Stop being so cute
3rd or forth row on the RIGHT and he is on the right end....
im pretty suree...:0
anyone know where Mitch is standing?
Scott, Mike, and Troy ovbiously leading the group
Even though I have a burning hatred for Urban Method, I think Troy is a total boss. His voice is perfect for Broadway kinds of shows and it's really really unique.
Scott saved this performance
Was anyone else shocked by Keith from Vocal Point's solo? Totally different from what we heard in teh rest of the season.
2:40 The London Werewolves together again :)
2:14 for Keith's awesome solo! Insanely close to springstreen!
VOCAL POINT!!! but where is Ben??? :((
' There aren't any girls to distract us.. " - Keith HAHA
@rlambert15 I love how this guys yelling about a group of men who just want to have fun. Im sure if Springstreen could hear this he would of loved it.
where is mitch???
i FINALLLY found MitCH!!! Ohhhh gosh, thank god, I was about to have a hear attack or sumthn if i never found him
@2:06 I Love Brendan's Voice
"It seems we're learning it faster. There aren't any girls to distract us."
i'm surprised no one got hurt during the song
the girls did well, but the guys knocked it out of the park
WHERE THE HELL IS MOI NAVARRO??
@HikariDragonRyuu Just listen to that voice...it's pretty damn epic.
not enough mitch
Other than the "1, 2, 3", what was Myke useful for since he can't sing? ......oh wait.
this lead was a little below michael's best range in my opinion. still an amazing arrangement and really incredible blending of that many voices
"... our man-cave." LOL.
Totally blew the girls out of the water.
@ellis12241 oh thanx:)
I meant that I didn't think Michael sounded good on this song, although I usually love his voice.
VOCAL POINT (groupiiiiiiiie scream!)
as much fun and awesome this performance was, I think the girls did a better job. Just my opinion.
wonder if bruce saw this yet
@TangoffalsUTD ...please don't lump Broadway singers in with him.
@fofilasouris I'll scream along ;D
Aaron from Yellowjackets should have had a solo instead of Jamal.
That was kind of AWEFUL! Except for Scott H
Good performance, but they had no shot at pulling off that song anywhere near as well as Bruce Springsteen can.
@coolpunkchick115 I totally disagree. HATED the girls' song. This worked so much better. But everyone IS entitled to her opinion!
@rlambert15 I have to disagree...I thought they did an excellent job...and far better than the ladies.
Drifted in as a Springsteen fan and all I can say is...............There's been a murder, that was truly awful!!
Whaaaaaat !?!?! NO girls only performance ???? That SUCKS !!! So wrong on many levels.
This is the most hetero normative thing I have ever watched lol
Meh... the girls were better 🎶
Honestly. Looking at this nearly 7 years later. That was baaaad.... sorry guys.
I honestly just likes scotts voice on this and thats it the song is to low for everyone else
