I went to a wrestling show at Six flags a few years ago and had various wrestlers for meet and greets. John was there and looked like he had NO interest of being there. Looked miserable and uninterested.

I met William Shatner in Colorado Springs 2019 and virtually. HE IS AMAZING!!!!!! He pick me and two other people at his panel. He is great and wonderful. He is my favorite actor. ]

My first convention was Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 & my most recent and 5th Convention was Galaxy Con Minneapolis 2019 at the beginning of November. When I go to conventions, I tend to get a lot of autographs from people celebrities who are from properties I know. I have 2 Binders. One specifically for Star Wars Autographs and 1 for miscellaneous autographs. My collection is growing pretty big. At Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 this year, I got 5 autographs and one photo op and at Galaxy Con recently I got like somewhere to 9 autographs.
@@FranchiseKicks IMO, when it comes to getting autographs, I prefer to just get them to sign one of the prints at their table. Mainly because I think the prints look neat. I was never a big fan of getting a Funko Pop, Action Figure or Poster signed. I'm looking at the prints at the celebrity's tables and thinking "Dude, those prints are so cool, why aren't you getting a print?" But that's just me.
I am honestly so jealous you got to meet Steven. He is my absolute favorite actor in The Walking Dead and I love him dearly as a person!! I was supposed to meet him at the Fandemic Dead Con this year but, he canceled due to precautions of the pandemic. Hoping to see him soon!
Moxley and Chevy Chase - the absolute worst to meet in person. No personality. Zero. Glad you had so much fun! I loved your excitement you were just so cute and funny talking to those celebrities I could sense the nervousness and the excitement in your voice but it was awesome. I’ve read a lot of wrestlers aren’t very nice in person. I can see why though. They constantly get harassed 24/7 by fans that don’t know boundaries and in airports taking flights to the next show. People get this illusion that they’re all happy-go-lucky when they see them doing Make-A-Wish promos and such, but it’s really because their bosses are watching.
Made me feel very uncomfortable watching, Clint was to starstruck to notice how rude Jon Moxley (Iv never heard of him before) was, you could see he didn't want to listen. Ok I can see how it could become annoying being constantly harassed, but when your being paid 60 dollars each person at a greet and meet, you could look a bit more interested. He's happy to take your money though! There was a lot more well known celebrities there, who were more then happy to chat to Clint

You take a guy like 22:55 who really is sincere and nice vs Moxley who is just like, give me your money and move on. Very dry. These so called celebrities forget, without the fans, they are nothing.

I met benedict wong at NYCC last year and he was awesome. He so friendly to everyone, such a character in real life and got to talk to him in chinese which was neat.

I thought it was cool that while you were getting Brian Baumgartner's signature that Beverly D'Angelo from National Lampoons Vacations movies made a Cameo appearance. Glad you guys had fun.

To the people who are talking about Moxley he's known to be very reserved in real life. He doesn't really talk much and likes to keep things very private as he has no real social media. He once did an interview on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast, a wrestler that most people know, and even HE couldn't really get a good interview out of him. He's good at his character work but the guy just isn't personable in real life and sometimes that's just how it is. MOST wrestlers aren't like this however.
I found it so interesting that some wanted no pictures or video and some didn't mind at all, not necessarily a rule for the whole area/day, it was different for everyone.
@@singlemomofonelife I'm guessing that it's usually not because they want to but it's because of the contracts they are under when doing these autograph shows. I'm sure it's because the show promoters won't allow people to take pictures and film because they want people to buy the photo ops to juice their profits.
You got more out of Shatner than I did! At the con where I got his autograph, he barely looked at anybody and didn't say anything. Super jealous that you met Elijah Wood!

honestly, i think he was weirded out by you. not that you did anything wrong, but he quickly profiled you, and had instant anxiety/awkwardness to you, seeing you wearing his shirt, and knowing you're a fan of his. He was expecting the worst.

As a Brit I'm obliged to say that The Office (UK) was better than The Office (U.S.) unfortunately that would be a lie, the American version didn't have Ricky Gervais in it so that automatically gives the American version an advantage. On a side note, I'm ultra envious that you got to meet Captain Kirk (William Shatner) I'd be interested to hear how much you spent in total getting autographs at the event.
Chevy Chase Seemed like the most generic meet and greet ever and I bet he was at least $100 too. I just expect a little bit more interaction if I’m gonna pay that kind of money but it seems like the more expensive they are and the more iconic they are the less they say and the more rude they are. I’m surprise William Shatner Talked to you. I’ve heard nothing but stories about he just sits there and signs your autograph and doesn’t do anything else. The one that still kind of surprises me is Robert England. He’s the only iconic guy who goes to all of these things who still see if they have a pretty good head about his shoulder. Of course I feel honoured to have known her and I'm proud of what she achieved in her life. Clint, you can transcribe the audio in parts where its hard to listen, like the Mark Gossellar one, like subtitles, in future vids. Enjoyed this video very much. Conventions are places where celebs descend down to earth and have to be humble towards their everyday fans. Great secondary experience.

I've sold at comic cons for 6-7 years, try asking an actor for an autograph for free then you know if they are nice or not ;)

Not keen on any of those names ( particularly Penelope Cruz) I don't really get star struck. Don't get me wrong, I'm Very pleased that you got to meet them. I don't do name dropping...although I could! I won't say names, all i will say i went to school and was friends with probably the most famous and wealthy women in the world, you would had to be hiding under a rock to not know her name and what she is famous for. Of course I feel honoured to have known her and I'm proud of what she achieved in her life. Oh and the part I said about you wouldn't get near the place, I wasn't aiming it at you personally, I meant in general as the security is so different these days because of how the world is now! Clint, you can transcribe the audio in parts where its hard to listen, like the Mark Gossellar one, like subtitles, in future vids. Enjoyed this video very much. Conventions are places where celebs descend down to earth and have to be humble towards their everyday fans. Great secondary experience.
