What is the point of shaving down the piston teeth?

@@SCASM101 the point of shaving the teeth is to reduce the mass of the piston to prevent the Dsg gear from engaging the piston teeth before it's at it's rest position. You don't necessarily need to do it but since those teeth are now useless may as well remove them. Also you're going to need to shim your Gun properly and have a decent motor that won't explode as there's a lot more stress inside of a DSG gearbox

for dsging ptw do you have to shave down some of the teeth on the piston? or do you use all the teeth on the piston
