My husband was really suffering with anxiety but always cancelled appointments, wouldn't even meditate. I admire you. I grew up seeing my mother be physically and emotionally abusive to my father. My brother and I became mentally I'll from it all and were locked up in mental and penal institutions at an early age. I intellectually knew I didn't want to be stuck in pain like my parents but it has been hard to maintain that freedom. I'm glad for those who have.

I literally have a dear friend who’s 1 year away from her LPC and she would never go seek therapy for herself. She’s high strung (exhibits bipolar disorder) and has trauma from her parents marriage that affects hers. It’s amazing.

i have so much respect for her . counseling and therapy has helped me tremendously . unfortunately so many of us miss out on this experience because we are afraid of the truth .
I literally have a dear friend who’s 1 year away from her LPC and she would never go seek therapy for herself. She’s high strung (exhibits bipolar disorder) and has trauma from her parents marriage that affects hers. It’s amazing.
