Yeah its definitely rare, this is considered a "two window" short bus which is really hard to find. I got it for less than 5k. We can't wait to get started on this build. We're actually going this weekend to pick up the chassis we're going to use.

Way cool purchase and swapping out the frame for a dually with a diesel sounds right, plus towing capability. Saw another comment about the bus being green like your logo 👍on changing the color no matter what you decide. I like that it isn't too big, seems like just the right size for the two of you.
It's Def a great size for what we want! And something similar to that color has been in the plans before we even bought it 😅

We've been trying to set up international shipping. It hasn't been easy. We just got approved for it! So hopefully, it will be in the next day or two.
You come make it a camper . That way you could camp in it when you go to those multiple day shows like Pigeon Forge.
One day, we'll have a camper, just not part of the plans for the bus!
I vote you put a generator & AC unit in it so we can chill at shows in comfort 😂 maybe some couches?

cool bus, you can do a lot with it. I would go with a 12 valve diesel, p pump. wait, did you say your selling the belair? Now that's a cool car...
I'm keeping my 54, I'm selling the 52 we picked up a couple months back. I believe I might already have a 5.9 12 valve with an Allison automatic donated to the project. Hopefully that works out.

Too bad the 52 has to go, i'll never sell my 53 GMC, learned my lesson when i sold my 50 Merc. Sold my 7 seater wagon and i miss it too :( I like your idea of going with a cummins on a dually chassis, as for color, yah the yellow has to go!! What about the green from your logo or a variation of it ,start at the front and do a fade to black at the back? Your logo down the side just behind the front section?

I'm not attached to the 52, my 54 isn't going anywhere. We're thinking about a green, will probably do some sort of patina. I believe I might already have a Cummins and an Allison automatic donated to the project. 🤞
Pinta bus camper
This idea is way out ........what if you put a slide out on each side? Use the existing bus wall and have it slide out 3-4ft.
Not trying to make a camper out of it, just want it to look awesome and be reliable. Doubt we ever even sleep in it.
