Truly Truly unacceptable behaviour. Violence should not be tolerated in our hospitals! Our healthcare professionals truly deserve respect. Please, let them do there job!
It's sad and heart wrenching because I know this will never stop. People will continue to be violent, aggressive and verbally abusive. I work in an ER and I see it regularly, I myself have been hit and verbally abused. People are unpredictable and if they don't like what they hear they will react. Patients come to be seen by us but yet they want to make their own rules and decide how things are going to go. Sorry doesn't work that way.
Yeah. Too right. Health workers should be allowed to run people over without consequences. Administer treatment in error, and then passively aggressively attempt to cause patients distress. Fail to respond to requests to stop medication that have terrible side effects because they are too busy. Actively refuse to help patients exercise after serious injuries because they are poorly trained and other doctors can't be bothered to send letters. Go on strike resulting in massive delays in treatment. Administer painful treatments without anaesthetic as a result of going on strike. Incorrectly attempt to discharge patients who are incapable of eating and continually vomitting and then make sarcastic comments after hours of delay readmitting people. Push dangerously damaging psychological interventions on people because they satisfy their desire to view the world as a nice place. Threaten to call the police on people when they say nasty things about other medical workers. Administer unnecessary doses of painkillers before people die without consent and then keep them in a coma until they die. Administer drugs in large doses that constitue torture without consent, not review the doses, and continue this for months at a time. That's the way it works. Doctors do what they want, break what they want, and decide the consequences they want. Then decide that they are "victims" when people get angry at them for it.
I'm a student nurse (moving into clinical practice soon) and it's horrifying that we have to make PSAs basically begging people not to attack us at work. I'm all for reporting violent patients to the police immediately. Imagine working as a car mechanic and accepting being assaulted because "car repairals really can be quite stressful for my customers, but please, help me to help you".
Please kindly don't force us patients to be antagonized by you " nurses" 😢 We have the right to say NO to any " tests and procedures" that we don't want done to us!!! 😭 Some patients have mental health issues 😫 And when you treat us forcibly and pressure us to something we don't want, you only traumatize us further !!! 😭😭😭😭😭 Please kindly STOP BOTHERING US, please kindly STOP PRESSURING US, and please kindly RESPECT OUR HUMAN RIGHT TO SAY NO to anything that we don't want done to our precious bodies!!! 😡
Did they. ? ... I believe they were paid too ... or your insurance or welfars. Paid them too. Did they ask you if you wanted to be saved? Were you even given a choice? Or was it just a. Money making opportunity for them? At your expense...
Truly violence is unacceptable while getting help, but nursing and doctors shouldn't lie and tell people they are offering the best help possible!!!!! The discrimination tord patient's race or financial status shouldn't dictate ( proper) best help. Also when a person is being RIPPED off by the hospital and medical system for the cost of care!!! Nursing staff shouldn't be crying that they are the victim when the put themselves in the most hostile invierment of greedy $ hungry people. Were in also most cases of women in the medical field are already taking advantage of men and children through the child support system. "Greed is the fuel to pity me. "
