- Jesse walks through all the upgrades he got done to his 2023 Legend Explorer Snow Trailer. Thomas Rowell did all of this work, and as always, did an incredible job. From making and installing a custom 12' diamond aluminum shelf, to re-wiring all the lights to run off a deep cycle battery and an inverter, installing roof vents, a diesel heater and more! LOVED the video! Thank you so much for sharing! I would like to get the same outside plug that has that strong spring for keeping it closed and tight with the weather stripping. I have looked online for something similar but can't seem to find it. Can you share what it is or where I can find one like it?

Looks great I plan on putting a heater in my Legend trailer, I got it insulated so curious how much warmer it will get ?? Do you run any sway control on your Legend trailer ?? I have a 7.5 19’ Extra 6” tall and sometimes gets squirrelly passing semis, I played around with tongue weight, hitch height , tire pressure and got it balanced but every once in awhile she will “dance”

Can you show how you load and tie down your sleds.
Hey Dave. In our bigger 4 place trailer parking depends on how many sleds are in it.. With 3 sleds we have all sleds facing towards the back. We load them through the front ramp and unload through the back ramp. We have superclamp tracks on the floor so all our sleds are fastened with SuperClamps. If we put 4 sleds in the trailer, we have to stagger one forward one backward etc to fit all 4 machines. Hope that helps! Cheers, Jesse
Where did you get the 2 added lights above your shelf? I can’t find any 12v lights longer than 15 inches.
I just bought them on amazon. Had them in my last trailer so over 5 years ago. I tried looking them up but couldn't find them either. Sorry man! Cheers, Jesse

Out of curiosity why did you go with caliber for the flooring rather than the Deck Tread you had in your last trailer?
Great question! The trailer was outfitted with the caliber products as part of the package and I didn't have time to buy decktred and do it myself. Really impressed with it so far. Cheers, Jesse

How long dose the diesel heater and lights work off that deep cycle battery? And also what kind of deep cycle battery is it?
It lasts about 18 hours or so off the battery but I often just plug the trailer in to run it for longer. Its a marine style deep cycle battery. Cheers, Jesse

It is built in. Its just your classic chinese diesel heater you can find on amazon. Cheers, Jesse

Most stuff is just custom work. The shelf was custom made. All the aluminum work was custom. The Chinese diesel heater is just your run of the mill heater on amazon. Cheers, Jesse

Explain "mileaging" out your engine, and getting a new one under warranty?
Getting the to the end of its life so it can be replaced under warranty.
I was curious about that comment as well, but the reply didn't clear it up for me. Are you saying if you reach a certain mileage you get it replaced? Or are you simply hoping it blows before the warranty is up?
@@johnnnny I'm saying the more I ride it the more likely it will blow. Motor won't be replaced under warranty unless it blows during the warranty period
