you dont need stem, but you can use other launchers such as origin or blizzard. It really depends on if those launchers have the game to begin with. Steam usually has a lot more games.

G2A is legit and the keys work just make sure the seller has a good history and you good. They rarely if ever will deactivate your key. Just know you are not supporting the developer. Sometimes I buy on there too when a game I want buy and try out and I don’t want to support the developer like EA. I could have bought Elden Ring for 51 bucks and save a couple bucks. But I choose to buy on steam instead. I would recommend windows keys too if you don’t want a cracked windows 10 or 11. And if you are college student many don’t know most schools offer a free windows education license which is the same thing and works fine. I’m using windows 11 education for my 5800x 3070 pc.
