So firstly, I personally like hearing you talk, it makes me wanna nap on your lap while you play your game. Secondly, the sped up wall breaking reminds me when I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out; the drilling and I guess chiselling of them sounded like this?
HI, I'm really enjoying your house flipper videos! :) Just a question because I picked up HF2 and some HF1 dlc after not playing for some years, what makes HF1 the better option for a lot of players?
Short Answer: House Flipper 1 is great for those who enjoy detailed decorating, while House Flipper 2 (in its current state) appeals more to players who want to focus on building houses. Long Answer: House Flipper 1 has been around longer, offering a wealth of DLCs and content that make it feel more like an immersive life sim. You can cook, ride horses, have pets, and grow plants, which adds a lot of depth to the experience. On PC, the inclusion of workshop items further expands your options for customization. However, the house-building mechanics are limited, bulky, and awkward, requiring you to adapt to its constraints to make things work. On the other hand, House Flipper 2 boasts a far more detailed house-building system, which is a significant upgrade. However, the range of items is currently much more limited. While there’s a wide variety of colors and patterns to work with, the furniture options can start to feel repetitive over time. It’s worth noting that in its current state, House Flipper 2 doesn’t yet have workshop "Items" support, though there have been mentions of it being planned for the future, albeit with vague details. Another key difference is the game modes. House Flipper 1 offers a single mode where everything is completed in one go, while House Flipper 2 features both a story mode and a sandbox mode. Sandbox mode provides the robust building tools and access to modded houses and jobs, which is a huge incentive to play. However, I personally wish the modded houses were accessible in story mode as well. Once you flip a house or complete a job in sandbox mode, it’s simply... done. There’s no option to sell or continue engaging with it, which feels like a missed opportunity.
@@Mnealia Thank you for the detailed response! I have been enjoying HF2 but it does feel very limiting at the moment, I accidentally replaced my default house in it with a sandbox house so that's fun lol had to buy an entire new office. I got some dlc for HF1 so tempted to go through it and start fresh, I prefer having the small starter office and working my way up instead of the pre furnished house we get in HF2, It may run better on my steam deck too although HF2 runs fine on it! Look forward to more of your HF videos!
Its giving college dormroom vibes. I dont think you have done that! I think that would be cool. It would have a common area, laundry room and shared bathrooms. Could be boys on one side and girls on the other. Would love to see something like that 😊
Ohh yeah, I could work with that. I remember I tried in the luxury old mansion, but while it looked big, it was actually awkwardly small for all the rooms I wanted to do.
The running idea now is a college dorm - the backstory with the dorm is it was a suggestion nearly two years ago to do a dorm, but there just was never a build that worked. I'm gonna kick it around and sketch it out in my head.
Some older buildings have what they called a "wet wall." A space between an interior and exterior wall that extends the height of the building for water and sewer pipes and enough room for someone to climb in it to work on things. Maybe that's what was behind the terlits, or maybe they were just drunk.
Ohh there was probably a very nice level designer in Frozen Way who painstakingly recreated the blueprint and then some youtuber is like "are they drunk?!"
happy NEW YEAR from Idaho
🎇
that tv would have been perfect for a penthouse
studio apartments!!!! there would be sooo many!
yeah I'm leaning to doing apartments, it just overall fits the building style.

I'm so happy to know that I provide soothing space, and 2. omgosh - now that you mention it I can't unhear it! It does sound like a dentist's drill.
the copy and paste gun would be so awsome

Amazing! I know you will do something really great! @@Mnealia
making lots of money on all that stuff
It was an expensive build, but I'm pretty sure I made it all back in the computer equipment.
or a combination of full apartments as well as studio.
