    Thank you for this video. You know, you are probably the only person I have seen who has talked and addressed the ride feel and quality issues and it also helped when you mentioned the psi levels. It's a great car. I love the M3 and have fallen in love with the MY as well after my test drive. Great job with the kids seat and how you showed getting your kid out and measurement between seats. Very informative. Thank you.

    Not sure how big the MY back seat is compared to the M3, but we were able to get 3 forward facing seats using seatbelts and tethers in ours. For anyone that needs to know, we used Diono RXTs. Our M3 was totaled so whenever we get the MY, we plans to use 2 Diono RXTs and possible a Graco TurboBooster for our oldest. These are some of the most narrow seats and boosters on the market. RXTs are just over 17 inches wide and the TurboBooster is supposedly less than 17 inches. Hope it all works!!!! We have pics in the M3 but don’t know if I can post. We also had white seats! Love your videos!

      That's awesome! Our car seat is super wide. If you had nice narrow ones I am sure it could work. Thanks for watching!

    A tip for parents - install the middle child seat first, rather than trying to squeeze it between the outer ones. And keep kids in harnessed seats as long as possible. It’s safer and much easier than trying to do up the seatbelt on a booster.

    Please make a video about roof handle inside model Y and ground clearance of model Y .
    Thanks

      Will discuss clearance in the 10k mile review video. What do you mean by roof handle?

    • @aryamanrtunjay7796
      @aryamanrtunjay7796 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CanAmTeslaFam I think he means the handle that is found above the door in the middle row of seats.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I see you have white towels to protect your seats. Have you found a white seat protector? I’m in the same boat!

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! The towels are mainly to protect from the sharp/hard edges of the car seats. I did ceramic coat the seats with a great product (just spilled fruit punch the other day - no problem!). Check out the 4 month review video for more on that. I will have a 10k mile review coming soon as well. Cheers!

    Hey great video . Do you think there is enough room for 2 kids and car seat?

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you mean 3 kids total with 1 of them in a car seat - yes, I think that would be no problem

    Hi! =)
    Two questions from family man:
    1º Does it get HOT inside due to panoramic roof?
    2º Missing the upper cover at trunk, can you see what's inside?
    Thanks for the videos! =)

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      1. No, and it isn't as bright inside the car as you would expect either. The roof does have UV protection in the glass so the kids won't get a sunburn 😀.
      2. It is virtually impossible to see through the back glass so I wouldn't worry about that!
      Thanks for watching and if you order a Tesla be sure to use a referral code!

      Ok. I was wondering the same. Very good question and answer !

  • @albagonzalez8686

    I am wondering how is it when is very sunny and that roof ? Does the car get very warm? Does the kid’s complain about the sun ? Does the car have a “shade” system included ? Or extra?

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There have only been a handful of warm days since I owned the car, but I can say the roof has never been an issue. There is heat/UV rejection built into the glass, but some warmth does still get through. It isn't enough to cause an issue and the kids have never complained about it being too bright. I am always amazed how it never seems too bright in the car. There is no shade included, but you can get an after market sun shade. Thanks for watching!

    Wish they would get rid of the glass roof which has a shape that compounds the noise from the kid bickering in back. If it could slide open would reduce the acoustic problems, drowning it out with wind roar

    How do the white seats hold up against the kids and messes?

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey!
      The seats have held up really well. Only stain is drivers seat from blue jeans. Don't be afraid - choose the white!

    Did you notice having car seats. Dent the head rest in back of the car seat?

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a great question - YES, it does. I use a small, folded microfibre towel between the seat and the headrest to prevent this and it works well. You could also just remove the headrest if you like.

    You can't put young kids in the back of the 7 seater.. No latch or tethers..

    • @CanAmTeslaFam
      @CanAmTeslaFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok, great point. So booster seats or directly in the seat, no car seats... Thanks for the info!

    • @bdtang
      @bdtang 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Actually you can. We just got our 7 seater. MY. There’s no latch system but most car seats you can use the seat belt. There’s the a tether hook on the back of the 3rd row seat so would recommend putting a forward facing car seat or booster. You would need to keep the passenger side clear to be able to provide access.
