There are so many streaming platforms now, each filled with different shows and movies. So to guide you through this whole mess, I’m gonna review the top streaming services, what they can offer, what they lack… plus a sneaky way to get more content out of them. Prime Video is also one of a few streaming services with free trials. AND is much easier to share.

📺 Amazon Prime Video
The main gist of this service is a good bunch of interesting original series. They also have a vast library of older or hard-to-find movies and TV shows. Like, Lost or Hannibal, or uhh, something like Forrest Gump. If we compare Amazon Prime Video vs Netflix, Prime has a smaller - yet stronger library.
📺 Netflix for streaming
Netflix has a wide variety of genres, from true crime to reality TV and even a bunch of anime. There’s plenty of original content too. My problem with Netflix though is instability, since they tend to take out shows out of their libraries often, it’s a time crunch to finish my to-watch list. You know what’s steady about Netflix though? Pricing increases! Sure, there’s a way to get Netflix with ads, but for me, that ruins the whole thing.
📺 Max (Prev. HBO Max)
I still don’t understand why they went from HBO Max to Max, but hey, as far as streaming platforms go, Max is pretty good. The main aspect that attracts me are the original shows. Most of them are classics at this point. But the whole quality and exclusivity thing comes with two very apparent drawbacks - it’s the most expensive streaming platform out of the three - and there’s no free trial.
