  • Google Chrome vs Firefox - the most popular browser versus an open-source one. To see which one of them is truly better, let’s stick ONLY to the facts.
    -----------------------------
    💻 User interface
Comparing Google Chrome vs Firefox UI is probably the least objective thing. Yet at the base, both browsers follow a similar layout. Chrome’s default UI is simple and clean but it’s not like Chrome stands out in this area - the current Firefox browser is sleek as well. In terms of a Chrome vs Firefox Android and iOS comparison, to me, Chrome feels a bit more intuitive. BUT if you want a minimalistic browser on your phone, there’s a pretty cool separate browser called Firefox Focus.
    🌐 Browser features
Chrome has an advantage when it comes to integration with other Google tools. Then you’ve got a big pool of Google Chrome extensions . Only a handful of which are truly safe to use, but alas - it’s not like Firefox extensions are all completely secure. Yet Firefox has a few advantages as well. There’s stuff like a built-in screenshot tool, a pretty convenient reader mode, and more importantly - enhanced privacy controls. Then you’ve got the free Mozilla password manager and the Firefox Monitor that can notify you about old or breached passwords. While Chrome password manager is also a thing, it’s much less secure.
    🔐Privacy and security
While browser security is similar and solid with bowth browser picks. From a PRIVACY standpoint, these two couldn't be more different. That’s because Google collects and sells data to third parties. Meanwhile, Mozilla is a non-profit organisation - and since they’re not greedy for money - they’re not greedy for your data either.
    ⚙️ Performance
Chrome is considered to be slightly faster - it can preload the pages you visit the most in the background, prioritize active tabs, and offload some tasks to your PC’s hardware. But why does Chrome use so much RAM? Nothing comes free my friend, and the price for great Chrome speeds, in this case, is your RAM. After a Chrome vs Firefox RAM usage test, I noticed that Firefox generally uses a little less, but that’s why it’s a touch slower too. But it’s still fast enough for seamless browsing.

    Great video !
As a side note, Firefox is also the only browser that supports extensions on mobile, including ad-blockers !

I use Firefox. It allows extensions to be used on the mobile version, including uBlock Origin.

@@flyingaviator8158 I mean a hidden good channel. Apparently that's what people say (hidden gem) to a good channel that has not gained much popularity.

For me i use Firefox for android
I stopped using chrome ever since 2020 since it started to become even more unreliable thanks to Google, i know it's a default browser but it sucks so i switched to Firefox and i love it, obviously both have their own advantages and disadvantages, biggest advantage for Firefox android are mods, which android chrome doesn't even allow user scripts to be used

Facts aside, whatever they are; if you use Chrome you are part of why the internet is dying.
Also. Firefox's autoblock ability does and doesn't work. It does work if you go through the About config section, but not if you go through the normal options method. OR at least it doesn't like to work properly for me, and some others who have run into the same problem and thus I found the solution by searching for it.
It makes youtube shorts actually non-addictive via the continuous auto play scroll of doom.

I've found Brave to be a perfect combination of 1) Chromium-based, so no compatibility probs, 2) built-in ad blocker that makes it load less stuff and hence use less memory and load sites faster, 3) being not Google, and more privacy minded.

Just get an older version of firefox if needed . Last update made it so adblockers don't work properly. I recommend version 120

1.2 was released over 2 decades ago, what are you talking about?! I think you might be talking about version 120.
