I love this take on Vampires, having them not only embrace technology but seemingly improve it was a twist I was not expecting. Really makes sense honestly!
It really does. Reminds me of a scene from Castlevania when the vampire Lenore is talking to the human Hector. She explains the heating system of her castle, redirecting heat from waste throughout the walls. He asks if it's some kind of vampire magic and she says it's actually a very old science. She tells him "Humans forget things, vampires don't". Humans are just too fragile and short lived to recall everything we've learned over the centuries and when a disaster occurs that sends us back into the stone age, we will forget or discard our scientific advancements and knowledge.
@@supernaturalawesome1 very interesting, it also reminds me that society in the past (and probably even nowadays) actively stood against science as some sort of sorcery or heresy (anyone remembers Galileo and the Catholic church?)

Magnus Lee is over 10,000 years old. He admits that because of this he’s extremely bored. He admits that’s why he goes after Doris because “mating with a human female” is one of the few activities he still enjoys and can temporarily alleviate his boredom. As far as humans not knowing vampire weaknesses, that was intentional. It’s been many years since I read it but, if I’m remembering correctly, it’s because of the vampire’s superior technology. The bread into humans almost a genetic amnesia. They can’t remember the weaknesses. If they discover a weakness by accident or are told it by someone like D, the human will forget it again in mere moments. In real world folklore dhampir are born with an intense hatred for vampires and their vampire parent. Seth’s descendants included Enoch, whose own city was carried up into the presence of God, and even Noah, as in Noah and the Ark. Cain was cursed to suffer and be miserable for a long time which is how the Sacred Ancestor lived. He even killed other vampires and wouldn’t be accepted as the ruler of the Nobles eventually. Basically, Everyone hates the Sacred Ancestor, even his “Children”. Vulcula and D.
its too bad Noble V didn't sell better
low-effort, creepy AI script and editing, really? AI trying to explain literary motivation is like watching a cucumber trying to do Calculus. FAIL
I would love an RPG game in this type of world be able to create ur own Hunter
There is a Vampire Hunter D game. It on PlayStation.
It's utterly hilarious how the "Nobles" looked down on humans when ALL Nobles are descended from humanity. Dracula is the first vampire, and the sacred ancestor of the entire vampiric race, yet he was originally a human.
