The schematic (@8:02) should show the bridge rectifier and the smoothing capacitor at the output to make it a DC-DC converter, otherwise it will be a DC-AC converter. Would have loved to have seen the AC waveform.
Your videos are interesting and I like it when you provide the circuit diagram. In this video at 2:48 you use a 3.3uF 250V capacitor, but doesn't show where it is connected and is not listed in the parts list. It is not shown in the circuit diagram too.. Please provide this information. Can you also give the maximum input and output voltages and currents capacity? Thanks.
The capacitor was connected to the collector of the transistors, one leg to of the capacitor was connected the collector first transistor and the other leg of the capacitor was connected to the collector of the second transistor. Thanks.
This circuit is very inefficient, drawing over half an amp with no load. You need to change the two IN4007 diodes to faster versions as the design runs at a high frequency, this is where some of the power loss occurs. You should also add a large, say 220 mFd capacitor across the DC input rail to lower the impedance of the current source for more reliable operation.

Why do you have the resistors? It works without them and the efficiency is better with germanium diodes

Mine only use bjt transistors. It still worked. The voltage went up to 48V AC. With a transformer it went up to 240V AC with 50kW of power. ⚡
