You are a true Artist! Someone once told me, it's the details that sell a painting..... It holds true for the styrene canvas too. I'm noticing new details every time. You never cease to inspire.
first, chop the bed and frame so that the rear fenders are up next to the cab. replace the running boards with laker pipes. drop it in the weeds with motor and running gear from the AMT 1963 Corvette roadster. give it tuck n roll bucket seats from AMT 1937 chevy gasser AKA the original stovebolt. scratch build a centre console for the hurst stile quick shifter also scratch built. paint or chrome plate the horn and move it out on the rock guard between the bumper and fender on the passenger side. suicide doors, beer keg gas tank in the bed. and finish it off with pearlescent magenta on the sides fading up into pearlescent white on top, pearlescent white interior.
The song has appeared on your link to buy now :) I have bought the 57 Chevy Bel Air and going to give this a try :) thanks for all the vids which give a fantastic starting point keep them coming !!
I noticed that on your "Rust " buckets that the tires and the bumpers are not distressed. Too clean for the look you are going for. What are your thoughts? Nice work. Not what I would do , but I can see the alternatives to the usual model build up.
What company made these models? They are some damn nice plastics. Thank you very much for sharing you expertise Dr Cranky. You Rock Man! That REALLY looks like METAL, Freekie how you do that! Lot of fun to watch. I like how you only had a few of the bullets make it through to the passenger side door. You must have shot some old cars in your day too.
Great looking truck. I really like how you can just barely barely see the blue color. Really great effect. I'm not sure how you did that. Cant be salt, is it? Did you somehow just mist the blue over the rust color? Thanks as always for the great videos
The truck is awesome and I think I have been through most of your videos one thing that also sticks out is your taste in music ! it matches your videos ! awesome ? what is the name of this track ?

Good work ,I like the sponge technique
Great look. Pitted cracked chrome plating would enhance it.
