Plus all of our O-linemen are young, (moving one year closer to their primes). And the O-line unit chemistry will be growing as well.
IMO, Baker's the type of QB who needs disciplined receivers, (like Jalen seems to be), who will be where they're supposed to be, always running the same speed, and can catch passes thrown harder than most QBs throw them.
He had a good relation with Landry and Juice is a really good route runner too.
mcmillan and rome were 1a and 1b in 2022 when he played outside hurt most of 2023 he is also awesome in the slot. he was the best of the three when he at the ball in his hands very shifty!!!!
If he works on his ability to read defenses, he can be an almost unstoppable force in the middle.
I can't wait for McMillan to prove he's ready to be the Bucs' WR3 in training camp!!!! Bucs got lucky he he fell due to injury in his senior year
On the first play the defense played that trips with a cover 3 zone safety was playing middle 3rd and that was a pretty route, it would have been better to play man with a banjo call, but he not fast but he a good route runner he might take Godwin spot next year cause we cant afford 17 million for 2 touchdowns maybe it was that funny style oc but Godwin did nothing last year
I believe he will be a good player, just not as good this year as you are making him out to be. His usage rate vs. the position, presumably not his slot role that he seems to thrive in.lotta mouths to feed on this offense. He seemed to face a lotta lb's rightly so since the other two options were high tier talents themselves. I'm not hating on anything said, but you guys said yourself that he isn't running away from anything. Defenses this year will play us differently because we are going to a 3 wr set. Honestly, i dont really like the end around for him at the nfl level. Still think he is a good reciever, and next year, when he moves to the slot, he will be truly a steal for us. This is his red shirt season , nd hopefully he performs better than i expect.
Yea it's pretty easy to be the third option at the college level, NFL corners vs 3rd CBs/LBs in the PAC 12 is a massive skill gap... I've even seen some morons saying he will replace Godwin lmao, you will be hard pressed to replace Godwin in general much less a 3rd round draft pick
He’s a solid player and played on the outside the year before and put up great numbers. He will contribute in some fashion this year.
Godwin will be a huge factor this year. Remains to be seen if he is resigned after the season. Like we said in the video McMillan is a solid player and perfect fit for this offense.
@@brutalasbucs9719 Obviously you're a casual to only think he was the 3rd option his whole career. Try comparing his numbers as a junior to Polk's senior season numbers (when McMillan was nursing his MCL for most of the season)
And a 3rd round pick isn't knock for a WR who fell due to injury. Guess who else was a 3rd rd. pick? Godwin
