thanks redpriest Did a Mclaren factory track day yesterday Desert track Thermal Club in my 600 LT using Goodyear 3R's (which I have used for years on my Macs and on other track cars ) They were awesome on the tight Desert circuit stuff But they are not available in 20 -21 combo for my 2022 Porsche Turbo S Lightweight that I track The 21rear is the issue I burnt out on Michelin Sport Cup 2's long ago (but just switched to Michelins slicks on my 2012 997.2 Cup car Because I drive to the track in my Turbo S I guess it is your Goodyear SSR's or Nankang CR-S's for more grip than the OEM Pirellis ( which actually stick quite well ) The Nankangs are a heavier tire but might wear longer . But they can be hard to get I have an extra set of 20-21 wheels for the Turbo Len Renick Brea CA
Yeah, the Goodyear Supercar 3R is a great tire. I love running with it whenever possible. With the Porsches, the size of the stock OEM wheels are problematic, but there are more 992 sizes incoming from Nankang. This is a pretty great overview of Nankang vs Michelin if you have time to watch: th-cam.com/video/O11YuT2MH54/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uqfC8MmSw85v8wh7 Personally I will probably be swapping my PCCB calipers with smaller ones that can fit a 19" wheel and then run 19s with Pirelli DH.
I actually like them. 12-13 heat cycles if you rotate them well. They are consistent. They do have a falloff of about a second per lap over 1:5x lap pace from fresh to old
thanks redpriest
