What I love about this quest is that doing damage with spells is something hunter already wants to do anyway.
That's why it feels good, hunter has a ton of cheap spells and his quest is just 2 spells per step, fast completion and you head the same way, face damage or controling the board while doing both.

You should try the odd version. It’s insane damage. Voracious reader and some other draw tools really help.

I feel like the day that this can be a reno deck is when this becomes actually good. Hunter just needs a critical mass of cheap damage spells

i think the problem isnt that hunter has not enough cheap spells. Hunter lacks card draw
@@dom4in637 yep that's the big issue. It's a faster combo than Raza + Anduin, but without card draw Hunter struggles to get enough cards to really machine gun

As soon as I saw the hunter questline, I thought of wild machine gun hunter, because you could put in cards like flanking strike and questing explorer. Needless to say, your build is much different than mine
I knew Roffle's video on this deck was coming, I didn't think it would be so soon
Remember when Raza Priest was nerfed in Standard because dealing 20 damage in a turn was unfair, even with restrictive deck design?
Rexxar doesn't.
powercreep honestly makes quest hunter more fair than raza priest was before they nerfed it. But the deck does feel strong
This was my first legendary I opened and honestly it feels super weak in standard right now

When everything are OP nothing really are
you know what a hero power that requires you to play cards to refresh it requires? Actually having lots of cheap cards in hand which requires lots of card draw/generation. Hunter doesn't have that so this quest isn't that good. And wild has way more broken things so even if hunter gets draw to make it more playable in wild it's STILL overshadowed by tons of better decks.

Hunter Questline works well with DK Rexxar, just need to remember to play DK Rexxar before completing the second step.
Mass Zombeasts generated for free. I like it.
I imagine Roffle or someone similar will try this. As well as other shenanigans like Dinomancy OTK.
I found it was just better to finish the opponent of with damage than to create a bunch of slow ass beasts when you are getting beat down by either pirate warrior or self damage warlock.

My build for this is more 'pure' with more Spells, but tends to run out of steam. I like the beast-based card draw engine you got going here. I'm still trying jank like Lorewalker Cho in it.

This quest can even be played effectively with Spell Hunter.... for a full hand refill with Rok'delar perhaps.

A bit of a shame that "Vereesa Windrunner" isn't in the deck, considering she can amp up the burst from the Spells with her +Spell Damage Weapon she grants. Probably too slow.

I use quest hunter to reach diamond 3, then totally mess. I can’t climb ladder anymore. I build odd quest and normal quest hunter. Now let me see yours, maybe I can learn something.
Why not odd hunter? You really don't need all that card draw because ur opponent is usually dead by turn 7 anyway.

How does this work with zuljin?
Lots of the spells in this deck can hit friendly minions or your Hero, so it probably doesn't work out well. Funny though.
The main problem with using hero cards is that the cost reduction on the hero power does NOT carry over. If you play Rexxar or Zuljin after completing the second step, your hero power goes back to 2 mana. And with Zuljin being random targets, he's actually godawful for this deck. The spells you want for Zuljin are exactly the ones the questline doesn't care about.
I just wish the 0-cost hero power would carry over. I just want to flood the board with infinite free zombeasts.
@@Cyrikyty Oh yeah I forgot that most of the damage spells are random. Probably just run the Rhok'delar for refill
@@AlfiansyahHendry I played this a bit and even Rhok'delar feels too slow for this meta. The games tend to always end after either player plays their quest reward on turn 5-7.

noo this is the shitty version of the deck... try the odd version or the non-buzzard one
all high legend wild decks I've seen run buzzard as card draw though. I don't see it being shittier, it's way more consistent than the other ones I tried
