I remember when Vol'Jin was first announced. Zalae and Purple were discussing the card. Zalae said the card is very strong to which Purple disagreed. "It is like a bad Gul'dan", to which Zalae shouts "Well then sign me the f*** up because I'd play 'Bad Gul'Dan' in a lot of decks!"
6:18 There were a number of decisions leading up to this moment that might have given you more advantage but the one teachable moment is that after clearing reno, you should have used multi-shot while there were 3 dudes on board to increase the game-winning outcome of not hitting the samuro. Otherwise, very entertaining and some great moments!

The missed poisonous+rush at 5:20 hurts
The trade first lowering multi-shot the next turn also hurts

@@gentle3880 well, there was still a deadly shot in the deck, so I think playing the beast right away is better. Now, he didn't find it (even though he drew it one turn earlier), but he threatened lethal because of the 10 mana slam, so Reno was basically the only punish there
I don’t think he actually missed it. If you look at the cursor or Roffle’s face there, there’s a cut in the video editing, probably cutting out Roffle wondering if he had enough mana to pick the poison/rush minion and considering his options. I think he chose not to take it on purpose, but I would have to check the twitch vod to say for sure.

Yep, worse case scenario is huffer misha, gives 4+ damage for exact lethal

6:45 why trade? You only get 5 minions and you will deadly shot twice, that's just missed face damage.

I’d probably argue that old tracking is better than the new tracking in almost all hunter decks, if only a little thanks to it’s deck thinning being beneficial for hunter’s most popular gameplan.

6:18 you should have played the Multi Shot first tho have a better chance to kill 2 dudes and then attack with the 3/4 the remaining dude so the deadly shot coul kill the 9/12. But hey may RnG be with you today Roffle
attack, multishot, attack was the right play, otherwise you would still have a Reno on board that could have tanked 3 damage ruining deadlyshot chances

First game he didn't need to trade before Zuljin because he always cleared the enemy board.
The turn before he should have used the spell before trading for higher odds.
Lots of misplays but I guess it makes for closer games for TH-cam 👌

I've ran into some Spell Hunters randomly while durdling about with Secret Mage before. It really is not a good matchup for the Secret Mage.

I mean, Barnes was nerfed a mana. And it’s spell hunter. Spells are cooler. That deck just made everyone hate spell hunter.

Of course he was just finishing building a beast that he could've given rush and poisonous but he ignored it.
At that point, I think he didn't have enough mana to pick it and play it on the same turn.
