I am a west coaster recently moved to the Pittsburgh area . My father was SP and I was lucky enough to do many coastal rides on engines and a few cabooses .I just recently got into rail fanning.
@@DelayInBlockProductionsthe scenery on the heavener and Shreveport subdivisions are really nice from mountains to plateau’s to hills and rivers it’s a really good railfabbobg location and its crosses the Union Pacific wagoner subdivision in Sallisaw and the BNSF Cherokee subdivision in Missouri the best times to film the heavener subdivision is in the summer while the best time to film the Shreveport subdivision is in the fall because in the fall when the trees leaves change and the vegetation dies it makes way for some better photos in the ouachita mountains and rich mountain
Your doco style videos are perfection. The commentary is very informative and the footage in these videos is the best i've ever seen. The drone piloting skill is very impressive keep up the awesome work
Good catches on the old GM&O lines and nice farewell to KCS video you did here! I spent the last day following the Roodhouse and Mexico subs from Laddonia, MO to Odessa, MO and then railfanned the Pittsburg sub at Grandview, MO in the evening hours. Had good success on both lines on the final day.
Absolutely brilliant as always!! I love your channel, it’s so interesting and informative. Being an Albertan I’m fascinated by the acquisition of KCS. I hope CPKC keep the KCS livery as it’s so pretty
My uncle started his railroad career with the GM&O in Jackson, TN at Iselin yard just before the merger with the ICRR. That was a merger that never should have happened. The parent company of the ICG was investing money in other businesses they owned at the time, but not the railroad. That’s why their tracks got in such bad shape, causing them to loose business and causing other businesses to go out of business as they couldn’t get reliable service. When the ICG sold the mainline between Fulton, KY and Corinth, MS, that pretty much forced him to have to work out of Memphis as he did not go to work for NS. Also, PSR is nothing more than lean manufacturing for the railroads.
Those tankers always remind me of those old time roller skates that you had to attach to your shoes and adjust with a key! I guess it's because the tankers sit so high on their wheels.
Seems a bit strange, normally railroad mega mergers usually draw lots of opposition ranging from customers to other railroads, however I haven't noticed much of an uproar over the CPKC merger.
I live around the CPKC Heavener subdivision and heard the c&o heritage unit was coming through last night but the train tied down for the night I think up in shady point since there’s a siding there
Die RTS hab ich als Vectron diesellok leider fehlt mir die rts Ludmila und zwei weitere aber von stadler were sie besonders cool denn ich liebe 6 achige disellok 😊

And how come wherever a RR line exists, its spaces contain debris all over the place! RR lines look like junk areas! Ugh. Clean up your sh#t, people!!😂😮

Gotta love the sounds of jointed rail.
Clickety-clack!

Great sound recording! You picked up all of the "details", even in drone shots. Thank you.

Welcome to the hobby of railfanning
I can’t explain it, either. It’s just interesting how such massive machines move on down the line.😂❤

Looking Forward to what CPKC has in Store for their 2nd Year. Also keep up the good work
I love the KCS color scheme! Hate to see them go. Glad that Laddonia is still hanging in there in spite of low economy!
Wow, rough tracks out of Vandalia into Curryville. Locos bouncing up every 10 feet!

Wow! Wish someone would take an interest in that old depot and fix it up! We need to save all those old buildings.
Agreed!

You should take the trip to Waterloo Iowa to see what could be the last of the IANR
I’m sorry but what does DPU stand for, again? I realize it refers to helper locos in mid-consist but what does the acronym represent?😊🎉❤
Double Penetration
Gotta wonder how much longer the jointed rail will be around now.
I love trains
Yo why did you take down the 765 stretching her legs to Liepsic again???
I guess the only question is, how much money to the regulators and politicians changed hands to allow this merger to go through?
One notices how pathetic the track conditions are heading into, out of n even in these RR towns! Too bad line owners don’t upgrade their lines.😮
👍

Huh?
Wow that's alot of galleons
Galleons?
I suppose when an apocalypse does occur, people will be able to pick up wood n other burnable items along RR tracks for sevl months! 😂😅
